All I have to say is that this song makes me proud to Canadian. I heard this song the first time during our remembrance day assembly and I was so touched by the lyrics and I was thinking of my great grandfather who served in WWII and all the hell he must've gone through with the rest of the black watch regiment in the freedom of Holland. I salute all Canadian soldiers that make a difference in our lives and protects our country so we can be free and proud. Thank You! I love being Canadian!
