  • my friend stays in tauranga ,he sent me some photos .it was very sad.

  • This makes me hungry for penguin

  • Do you like driving. Or do you like cheaper gas. Get over it

  • Devastating. Tear inducing. Unnecessary. Selfish. Greed. Injustice. Sadly what our world is fast coming to.

  • I think it's really necessary to show this, news reports make it sound as if it was all OK, we need to know what really goes on, mind you when the current government sells off part of our assets we will have very little say in how things are managed,it's all about money. I don't think this film is promotional just Greenpeace telling it how it is as usual. Good for them

  • 'apprec8ive': Promotional purposes? I'm sorry but there is no product trying to be sold in this campaign. Perhaps your reaction is good, as it must have struck a chord in you somewhere - What do you suggest to help get this message across? Excuse the pun, but I don't think there intentions were to paint a rosy picture here. The situation is sick: John Key is still talking with Anadarko about drilling oil here. Sick, weird, whatever gets the message across to these short sighted politicians.

  • @rsim065 It is promoting Greenpeace's campaign. Cruelty towards any living or ex-living animal strikes a chord with me. The campaign crew at Greenpeace are really inspiring and creative people, they could have used other ways of getting a print of a penguin. You can't force a message onto those who don't want to listen. But like I said, the message is clear, the method in getting it across can cross the borderline sometimes.

  • appreci8ive: Sign the petition. Go to your friends, encourage them to do the same. This is a memorial. This is a warning. Sign the petition and help stop the potential for more such funerals.

  • The hell you doing using dead animals for promotional purposes? Weird. No stopping your imagination. I'm all for the message, but the method, questionable.

  • @apprec8ive well you probably use dead animals for shoes and clothing dont you?

Im a vegan but most people use dead animals for food, do you? i think what greenpeace has done is amazing at least those animals didnt just die in vain, for the cause of fossil fuels.

  • Lest we forget.

We must stop deep sea oil.

And the devastation of coal combustion.

Write to the MPs,. All of them. Sign the petition. Go to Greenpeace NZ website, and tell your thoughtful friends. It's now or it's gone.

  • Macabre yet effective.

    :'(

  • Heartbreaking :(
