Driving to Florida from NY

different back then. a 1953 pontiac. lived in Ft Larderdale for 2 years.

I'm going to Deerfield Beach FL. for a month. Working on a condo renovation for a good costumer of mine. We may stay longer. hehe.. Leaving Hartford CT. at 4:00am in the morning to beat the NY crunch. Every time I go I never want to come back. :(

Hi, im about to do a road trip like this in december with some of my friends, i actually live in California but we all goin to meet in NY and go for the trip...is there any advice u want to give us for safety or seeking cool sites on the way...thnks, and thnks for sharing the trip with us...

@kfkgj The only thing I would suggest if you can go the non toll route in the beginning through PA go that way it is a nice scenic route and a fun run through Scranton PA if you are a a fan of the Office show. NJ stank and was slightly confusing even with the gps, and Washington had the worst stand still traffic I have ever seen. Siting still for a good hour if you catch it at the wrong time of the day :( We stopped half way at SC and was a nice break after 15 hours of driving.

@kfkgj Don't forget to stop at south of the border SC you will see the signs everywhere for all your firework needs! The cheapest prices you will find. The one thing I want to go to next time is the second biggest aquarium in the world is in Atlanta Georgia. Hope some of this helped and I know you will enjoy the trip :)

@laceyqueso98 yeah went to baltimore in the summer last year 12 hour road trip for me l0l we drove all night (well my dad did) and went over 24 hours non sleep but my dad crash for like a day!! and yeah it was cool

same thing i did over spring vacation. but i didnt drive, i went to bradley airport in HFD then flew to tampa but ya i got to see a bunch of herps. did u see a bunch f geckos there cuz where i wuz there was a ton.
