Other than a slight inconvenience to the conference participants the reason the '99 WTO meeting shut down early was purely out of concern for the safety of the city of Seattle, DUE TO THE WANTON DISTRUCTION AND RIOTS the BB was waging on the people of Seattle, not because BB was making any impact on any policies, or issues the WTO were going to discuss. The meeting did happen, and the WTO still exists, and continues to make policy today.

Everyone whose saying that anarchy is chaos/lawlessness need to look it up because it is far from that. Also do some research on the Spanish Civil War to see how an anarchistic society would be run. And @thenewpunkrockkid this isn't your typical gangsta rap its stating what we should be doing and organizing against the power. Not all anarchistic music has to be punk.

@121Bollox It's sad to see another person buying the right-wing smear machine that tries to paint all radicals as yuppies. I'm a farm worker. I don't get money from my family. I won't deny that I go to school- on merit-based scholarships and loans. Why should be ashamed? I was an anarchist before I came to college, and I was never a punk kid. I organize an anti-racism network and mutual aid in poor communities. So I'm sorry if I don't fit into the box you want to put me in to discredit me.
