That is NOT an airplane, but it IS a contrail, definitely. The lower section of the trail makes it quite obvious to me that it is not a plane. I spent many years with a fighter squadron and have seen contrails from many types of aircraft. Definitely NOT a plane. I have also been witness to many types of missiles being fired from both air and surface. This contrail is indicative of a surface or subsurface missile launch. Military does it all the time and has denied many of their launches at sea..

I work in Malibu, California and although there was a hill between my work and the ocean, when I got out of work that night I saw this. I didn't think anything of it because Vandenburg Air Force Base launches missiles all the time. It wasn't until the next day did I see the news and the big deal. If it was a missile, where did it land? If it was headed TOWARD the US, shouldn't it have hit somewhere? Either it disintegrated, was not armed, did not go off, or it was not a missile. It was not a UFO. I say this as an educated statement, I have been researching UFO's for a long time now, it's not a UFO, their technology does not create contrails. Nor would it be traveling at such a slow rate of speed. This was a missile, there are several examples of missile launches that can be compared to this.

The bigger question is: Who's missile was it? US or another countries?

The fact that our military branches can't seem to admit what it is, leads me to believe they're embarrassed
