actually pirates in eve are noobhunters. Most of them entering 0.0 - where people protect their feedlands seriously they sucks - its not fight against noobs. Best example is one pirate corp with 150m bouty on his head CEO was ganked by our alliance on their faction ships.

Why would you? You cut the defensive capability of that ship in half and on top of that you're now weak against a neut setup. So all in all you've made yourself worse defensively and have more weaknesses to pirate tactics.... great plan.
