1: Death penalty is only for the most serious crime, which is murder. You dont die from being blind, so no death penalty.
2: You really think being so hateful makes you a good person. I mean you want to torture a human being forever, which is the worst anyone can do or be.
3: What do you deserve? If blinding someone deserves eternal torture what do you deserver for eternally torturing someone (which you didnt actually do, so its more hypthetical)?

I hate how many people have blamed the mother. If she had taken the boy she would have been charged with kidnapping and served jail time. If she had insisted on coming in to see her son she would have been arrested for trespassing. The most she could have done to prevent this was call the police and say the dad was on drugs. Also, she had no way of knowing this would happen. I blame the idiot judge who stuck the boy with his dad.
