This was long awaited. I hated the way that her charater (Jane) was written towards the end of season two all the way through season three. It wasn't until the last two episodes of season three that the writers gave her what she (Josie Bisset) wanted a stronger character. This was one of the two eps that displays the beginning of the transformation.
I disagree. I think that Jane's character needed the evolution she had. She always was strong, but she needed that much of strokes to realize that she had to be more blunt with people. I think she had a very good evolution in the show (one of the best's evolution character, because it was slowler and more realist) The thing changed in 7th season... stupid and uggly character... It was Josie Bisset but not ever Jane Mancini.
I think the writers wrote Jane and Jo as being victims is because of the way they were portrayed. If portray a character as being pathetic and a doormat then that's how the writers are gonna put the character in degrading situations.
