  • Made this tonight. Used the orange juice instead of the Apple Cider as we never buy Apple Cider since we don't drink it that much. Excellent dish. Thank you Chef Snow for a great idea!

  • i saw honey at the local farmers market, he was buying 55 gallon drums of bakers grade honey and bottling it as local. he got 6 dollars a jar for crap that cost him 2 dollars a jar. all perfectly legal.

  • Hi, your recipe was great. I liked the idea of steaming it instead of roasting it. Gave it a nice smooth texture. I omitted the cider because I didn't have any. Is it there mainly for acidity or the flavor? Would substituting apple or orange juice work as well?

  • @keithsnow i really like that explenation, i had a question regarding the flavour of butternut on yahoo answers recently and no one could explain it so i was terrified when i first tried it, love it though and this looks nice much better then my first mashed squash recipe. thanks for the vid man
