But you're right, the version of Afterhours amazed me when I heard it the first time, and I wanted to learn it so much..

tes reprises de joy division sont intéressantes, mais elles perdent toute leur énergie, point fort de ce groupe, pour devenir, désolé du terme, assez sirupeuses...

Mais est-ce que ce serait vraiment utile de bouriner sur ma guitare folk, ou de les reprendre exactement comme Joy, ou encore faire comme The Killers, un truc pop qui dénature complètement la poésie du texte, et dont l'énergie n'est pas véritablement désespérée

J'ai simplement pris les textes, et j'ai joué comme je le ressentais, sans la rage, seulement l'émotion

I guess in the first part he plays a little arpeggio with chords in the shape of power chords (C, D, E with Gstring free) and from 3:20 he adds a guitar with the same chords in different shape (or same shape but anyway not arpeggio). I'm not sure about this but I tried and it works (there are some point where adds some notes in the arpeggio)

Anyway, very good version, I really love it. Great!

Well, the song is so atmospheric that I didn't wanted a lot of images. It would have imply a lot of transitions between them and the "atmospheric thing" could have disappeared.

So, few images, few notes, few volume..that was how i felt it :)

I love this song so much, the lyrics, and the sound, the mood, the feeling...

and I have an Infinite Respect for the Joy Division Music and especially for Ian Curtis..( Paradoxically I hate Bernard Sumner and the way he sings JD songs and words that belonged to Ian Curtis, with his dreadful voice and his poor guitar playing. Everytime he sings it sounds like and insult for me..Grr. )
