anybody out there interested in buying my 1969 whitefreightliner coe was driving it until end of january this year if so contact me at darthdonnie1@yahoo.com would hate to scrape it as it is in much better shape than most trucks i have seen refurbished.
@3338MAN Depends on a few things, an o/o could run one all day long as long as he wasnt leasing to anyone that had requirements on the age of the tractor. I know of a few company's that wont let you pull a trailer for them with a tractor thats more then 10 years old. My papaw drove a 73 White Freightliner Cabover from august 1973 thru september 2002 but he only pulled loads that he called on, was his own load broker if you will. like i said all depends
@darthdonnie1 would it be practical to replace that engine and keep going? 1969. That's impressive. What was your average length of haul with that great truck?
@3338MAN was a long hauler until we bought her we just used it intrastate local.dont have the funds to change the engine small time operation .like i said would like to find someone that would be interested in rebuilding her for show or work she loves to work and showoff. oldtimers cant belive she wastill on the road working at 41-42 years old hope to find her a new home.
maybe one day my 70 model will look that good.absolutely a baeutiful truck.nice work, and please post more of this truck.maybe some of the inside please.

Freightliner made the coolest looking cabovers...I drove a 1965 model back in the late 1970s...

Can a truck like that still get up in the morning and go to work? I wonder because these old COE's are something rarely seen anymore on the roads.
