Well, the thing is, the combat visor is supposed to have a screen that clears dust, debris, etc. from the soldier's display, and filter out of the effectiveness of checmical warefare. That way, you could still battle with 100% effectiveness in a dust storm (kind of like in Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones).

Ok, in the Bf2142 at the very very end u see 2 wakers 3 soldiers and 2 gunships fly over, INVERT that image and thats what you see in the visor : )
