@Oktoberfesting THIS movie, the best ever made, is more about the toxic attitudes and snob values that middle class lifestyle creates. its a disease thats infected the western world. im glad american beauty was made. it doesnt say all who are middle class are unhappy but in saying that, anyone who watches this movie will know people who are like the burhams. the movie is a snap shot of middle class life like today...and it captured it beautifully.

I`m fairly sure this music was used in "The Shawshank redemption"- the part where Morgan Freeman gets out and is thinking about the guy who hung himself when he was released. Actually it was also used when the old guy from the prison library is walking around thinking about what he is going to do and then hangs himself

Actually what first came to mind was Road to Perdition's score. But the scores from both that and Shawshank have a common link: Thomas Newman. So it goes to show that Thomas Newman reused his 6-note motif and then Jakatta sampled it... wth is going on here, lol, what happened to originality?
