  • Don't really like this type of music, but good tips, and good playing.

  • @xXMercifulFallXx Thanks for being open minded, and for that comment. Much appreciated.

  • @inatuk1959 no problem, like I said, not my type of music, but you're good at playing it.

  • "A bit of reverb, and a little bit of beer." haha :)

  • @pacrat90 tbh I think the beer makes it sound better than the reverb! Thanks for the comment.

  • these guys are so damn funny.!! haha. and great vid. keep rockin! \m/

  • I Have that Tuner! Wow! Nice.... Small world

  • awesome you have a wolfgang guitar

  • Hi There, it's great guitar. I love the locking trem and dropped D bridge. I also have a Ravenwest Lizard Quilt which I shipped over from California, which is a more traditional Les Paul style guitar. Maybe I'll use it on the next vid.....

  • awesome you have a wolfgamg guitar

  • Blues, friendship, beer... what else is needed? great video :-)

  • That is so true. We posted this vid 2 years ago and it's good to know people are still enjoying it.` Andy and I are still playing and recording blues stuff, maybe we'll post another vid some day. Thanks for your comment - much appreciated.

  • I found your video searching for boss multitrack and i found much other, thanks to you :-)

Sorry for poor english and greetings from Italy!

  • Hey , where do you get your drums from? Did you record them or do you have some kind of ''drum machine''?

  • Hi Thom - the drum patterns are included in the Boss multitrack recordeer - you have to program them, but you can change the tempo, add fills etc.

Nowadays I'm using a PC to do most of my recording, and I have found some great drum sounds with software such as Beatcraft (you need a reasonable understanding of drum patterns), and EZDrummer (entertaining and easy to use). But i guess everybody you speak to will have their own preferences. PM me if you need any info, thanks for commenting

  • Hey, thanks for your info! It's just what I needed!

  • I've got one of the these but can't seem to record the drum part?

  • Hi Colin, I've now sold my Boss 532 but from what I remember you don't have to record the drumpart, you have to save what you programmed into the integral drum machine so that it plays along with your recorded work. If you don't save it, next time you turn on...it's gone. PM me if I can be any help.

  • Thank you, I'll probably take you up on your kind offer.

  • That great, I want to get a sound card and fool around with a bit of recording too.

Keep it up and Thanks for replying ;)

  • That was a laugh haha cheers,

but how come you had only 4 channels??

is it not on PC software recording with many channels?

  • Hi there, we were using a Boss 532 multitrack.. Nowadays we do indeed use a PC and software which gives us 999 channels (!). It doesnt make us sound any better and it takes way longer because we spend too much time fiddling about with all the plug in's . still, thats progress (?). thanks for the comment..

  • brilliant philosophy !!

  • guys are you just happy people or are you stoned??

  • Excellent video very funny, that bouncing down tracks good tip then load audio cd onto computer add to movie maker then add video footage over lay, save then upload and Bobs your uncle.

  • Thanks for the comment, another vid is on the way soon - we'll keep you posted.

  • Thanks I learned ab it. I think I'll end up buying a multitrack recorder.

  • Thanks for this, it has taught me a GREAT amount, and where I am going wrong.

I'm off to get LOTS of BEER.....Cheers!!

  • Yes, but always drink responsibly(not sure what 'responsibly' means, maybe make sure your life insurance is up to date, wear a nice suit that sort of thing). We're thinking of doing a sequel to this, so watch this space...

  • How do you connect the boss br 532 to the computer etc...? Having a wee bit of trouble.

  • Hi Pepwan. in this particular vid we didn't connect the Boss to the PC cos we were just having a bit of fun, but it is possible to do it. At the back of the Boss there are two phono 'Line Out' connections. Use a "Y" shaped lead -two male phono on one end(to connect to the back of the Boss) and one male jack plug on the other. You'll then need one of those converters to reduce the larger jack plug to the smaller one....and that goes in the microphone input on the PC. PM me if you need more.

  • Hi Tim, thanks for taking the trouble to leave a comment. That one took us two and a half hours, we could do it quicker if we cut down on the drinking (no chance). I'm just trying out some software to make a change from the multitrack machine - Record Producer Deluxe - you tried it?

all the best from us in the UK

  • Ha thats great, keep drinking :)

  • Well have one for us...cheers!

  • Truly awesome guys 5*****

  • thats the best advice keep drinking beer

  • You're so cool! :)

  • Hi mate your local music shop will be able to sort you out, but before you buy read the reviews, and if poss get a demo. The BR 532 has been improved now, and there are loads of other options. Good Luck.

  • thank you for buying lol

  • THanks! You made it to the end of the vid then! I need to learn a new chord for the next instalment, so it might be a while....

  • That was fun to watch.Sittng around with friends, throwing back some beers and making music.BTW I have a BR-532..they are aggravating.

  • Thanks for the positive feedback on the vid. I've enjoyed using the 532, obviously there's better stuff available now - what would you buy next time, any recommendations?

  • I swear...when beer comes into play... it makes it all worth while... you blokes did a heck of a job and had me in tears of laughter.. thats how music should be created.. cheers

  • Hi mate - you clearly took this posting in it's intended spirit!(unlike onescope, below)..you'll notice it's listed under 'comedy'...we don't profess to be great musos, but we know how to sink a good beer! Thanks for taking the time to leave a positive comment, appreciated. Respect and regards to you.
