im in high school, and our school sends off the five best writers to this youth writing workshop thing four times a year, and a different writer presents this all day workshop each time. TODAY MARKUS ZUSAK WENT :) he read us the first few pages of his coming book too!! so excited it sounded amazing
i just finished the book thief and i practically cried like a baby, especially the part when Liesel quoted a line from the word shaker to max and the part when liesel kissed rudy brilliant author and beautiful book one of my favorites.
same here! but the part when i reallly lost it was when max came back for her in the epilouge. i was in school too. so basically, nonstop public humiliation the entire day.

If I ever met him I think I would faint. This guy has moved me in so many ways and he is just amazing.
