These chasers aren't in the path, but they are well known for getting in the path of tornadoes these days since they have the "Dominator" which is a tornado intercept vehicle. I was in the path of a tornado once, but I moved my truck before it got severely close to me, so it went by me, then I headed south to avoid the hail core which was putting down some softball size hail.

Proof that the storms on this planet are getting worse every new year. I feel that at some point tornadoes will not only grow in size and intensity, but as shown here, one storm will start producing two, three, even four tornadoes at once. Who knows how bad it will be years from now; the EF scale could broaden well past five, an entire storm could be one huge mesocyclone dropping dozens of tornadoes.

Tornados are really pretty rare outside of the belt, thanks for posting. I lived in Minnesota and Kentucky, I am 38 and have been hunting for tornados for 18 years, I've only captured about three, two very small (prolly ef-1 at best) and one ef-3.

Smart people would run away... That goes to show you that they arent that smart, although i have always wanted to be a storm chaser. I wouldnt get that excited though! I wouldnt go, " Tornado to the west! Tornado to the east! Tornado to the west!" i would be like ... whoa!

Tornados are really pretty rare outside of the belt, thanks for posting. I lived in Minnesota and Kentucky, I am 38 and have been hunting for tornados for 18 years, I've only captured about three, two very small (prolly ef-1 at best) and one ef-3.
