It just made me think of the psychological implications of the fact that when we see people with a positive close relationship to an animal, we implicitly trust and like them -- even moreso than when we see two humans with a positive close relationship.

@RivalRivalz Like the way most people seem to feel quite comfortable talking to a stranger who's walking their dog, asking if it's a boy or a girl, its name/age, etc., but if two people who are strangers to you are walking together, it's far less likely you'll say anything. It sounds silly to say but it makes it seem like most people would trust the "opinion" of an animal more than the opinion of another human being. It just interests me, is all. I meant no offense to this guy.
