PS the Illinois Shandels are not to be confused with the Shandels who did Go Gorilla from Wisconsin. Although it was the same time period, different musicians. Shandels was a popular name back then. There was another one from Huntsville AL. and of course Tommy James and the Shandels
I am not sure my comment showed up. I just mentioned that the name of the Band was Shandels all from Mount Prospect Illinois not Iowa. The Sean, 2 Toms and a Joe consisted of Sean Ryan, lead vocals and bass, still performing today in Petosky MI, Tom Blomquist on Drums, an award winning TV producer and writer of shows like A team, Walker Texas Ranger, Riptide. The other Tom was Tom Nyquist, I am not sure what has happened to him. The Joe was Joe Stanley the only on not from PHS in Mt Prospect
That record has kind of a perfect feel for that time (1965 - 67) !!!!!
