Metroid Prime 1 GC: Visor Cut-Scene Glitch?

Fusion Suit was added in a huge hurry at the last minute (see also Chozo Ruins elevator crash...) and evidently to cut corners they left out data on how to animate the Fusion Suit model in the "visor get" cutscene. So, there you are. If I had to venture a guess it's mixing the Fusion Suit model with key frame data for the normal suit, so the polygons being in different orders stretch out between the wrong vertex positions :P

The *normal* Fusion Suit, I meant. Once you get Varia it goes away, as noted by some others.

Ive gotten the Thermal visor without varia and had plasma beam,on and it didnt mess up, it must of been the AR....

That is the most extraordinary glitch that I've seen in the Metroid Prime series, possibly. It would be cool if this worked on Metroid Prime Trilogy.
