@Mikedude97 No, he isn't dead. Chip was sealed inside the Earth with Dark Gaia.

Which is why when Sonic picks up the bracelet thing Chip wore on his neck, he says: "I will be here by you, always. Apart of the Earth you tread."

So that means Chip is now apart of the Earth, and the Gaia Temples do not exist anymore (They were probably destroyed when the final Continent was restored).

1.Sonic and the Secret Rings is a Spinoff so it doesn't count.

2.Eggman appears in every game (except Sonic and the Black Knight which is also a spinoff) so why ask to bring him back when he never left in the first place?

3. It would be boring to have only Eggman in every game.

4. If no new villains appear, Super Sonic most likely wouldn't appear since most Eggman machines can be beaten by normal Sonic.

5.Adventures is just a game title, all main series games share the same continuity.

Chip isn't dead. He merely had to seal himself back into the Earth's core, until Dark Gaia rises again to bring darkness to the world, then Chip will have to seal him up again.
