  • Accidentally cut your hair?? I would have DESTROYED that hair dresser. That's why I don't go to a stylist.

  • You remind me of how my journey is NOW . ♥

  • I think you have beautiful hair, how do you mmake it grow so fast?

  • @yokinee1 I try very hard to leave it alone. Key word "try" LOL! Keep your scalp clean, hair conditioned, and try your best to be gentle with it :)

  • Uh, how did your stylist "accidentally" cut your hair THAT much? You see? That's why I learned to cut my own hair and I do a damn good job at it too.

  • Please post updated videos. Our hair is very much the same and I have been transitioning 22 months now. :) I plan on BC'ing in December at 2 years. I am nervous though because I have NEVER had short hair. I've maintained hair that is below BSL while transitioning and I know that in a few more inches I will be at BSL with my natural hair. Please post a new video. I'd love to see your hair. BTW this video is really great. Thanks.

  • im 12 and im transitioning today is 4 months since my last relaxer and i dont know what to do with my straight ends and im scared that im going to get loads of breakage i also dont know how to keep my ahir healthy. By the way i loved you transition it has really inspired me.

  • @birgitta893 That is AWESOME that you are 12 and already transitioning! I wish I had that determination when I was your age :) I would say, try wearing your natural hair in braids-no extensions, until your hair gets to a length you like, then cut the straight ends off. Or, you could try wearing braid outs, or twist outs, rod sets etc. If you notice that your hair isn't healthy at any point in your transition, you should go ahead and cut the straight ends off.

  • @amilion192 thank you for the support

  • @birgitta893 it's not worth sacrificing the health of your new growth to save the relaxed ends. You can take care of your transitioning hair by keeping your scalp clean. You can rinse your scalp, you don't always need shampoo. Condition your hair often. Your relaxed ends may need oils. Overtime your relaxed hair will begin to feel rough in comparison to your new growth.

  • MUITO BOM, GOSTEI...

  • lol how did she accidentally cut it ???

  • at 0:19 Your "typically relaxed hair" What products did you use?

  • @EleniFaith at that time, I usually used a Pantene conditioner and shampoo. I also used gel and scrunched it into my hair to lock the "curls" in. I didn't use natural hair products when I was relaxed. I put curls in quotations because that is not my natural curl pattern.

  • love ur hair. oh i see aaliyah on ur wall

  • I loveeee you!! PLEASEEE make more videos!!! :)

  • You have beautiful skin and a beautiful smile. With all due respect to hair efforts, you would be beautiful without a single hair on your head.

  • i love your hair.what products do u use?

  • @Goofychik01 I use aloe vera gel, Lily of the Desert brand. I also use Giovanni smooth as silk hair conditioner. As a leave in conditioner, I use Knot Today by Kinky Curly.

  • i love your hair . im at 3mnths now and my new growth looks similar to yours . i cant wait to get as far along as you have (:

  • You look so beautiful I like your smile I am a man who always tells women that if your natural hair comes down to shoulders you got longhair

  • You look so beautiful I like your smile I am a man who always tells women that if your natural hair comes down to shoulders you got longhair

  • your hair is so pretty. how do you do the chop stick bun?

  • hey, my hair looks like its your hair type. what products you use when wearing it natural like wavy cause my hair is course and super thick and pass my shoulders so it dont like to behave natural so i always straighten it

  • I am experiencing the hair lightening as well... I wonder why no longer getting relaxers is changing my hair color...

  • THAT SASSY SWAG SILK WRAP WOULD LOOK NICER AT NIGHT TIME...(SMILE) PLSE ORDER ONE

  • What your hair type, it looks similar to my hair.

  • @TheKennesha I think 4a3c?

  • the pic at 1:00 is absolutely beautiful. I love it!

  • where did u get the head band at 1:56 at? lol i love it!

  • @hawowchick That is actually a knee sock. I cut it lengthwise so it makes a really wide head band. Very affordable and easy :)

  • i love this song so much

  • Nice eyebrows! l liked all the hairstyles. But I got bored and stopped watching...

  • i love ur hair!

  • that is exactly how my curls looked at the beginning of my transition.... im @ my 8th month now.. this video inspired me to hold off on the big chop 4 a little longer... great hair

  • ur sooo pretty

  • going natural, just started, it been two week since got my last perm

  • OMG I kept having the same experience with the stylists cutting my hair "accidentally" from below my brastrap to my shoulders. That's the foremost reason I stopped perming my hair and had a ball chopping it off in increments and doing funky styles (loads of mohawks etc) along the way.

  • @chefbriapink at 2:08 that's a braid out. I put about 8 plaits in my head, then unbraided them the next morning. My hair was really big that day.

The picture right after that at 2:09 is a wash and go.

  • Will you please send some updated shots of your hair. I love your videos.

  • wow! loved this video. your braid out is sooo cute.

  • wooow im impressed how u went natural like that WITH a relaxer I've done that over the summer once it worked but i had to cut the ends it was bushy lookin but ur living proof that textured hair can grow

  • Girl your video is so inspirational!! love the music!!! i'm on my journey to going natural now , i just started... but wow your hair is really pretty!!

  • i love your hair its so pretty...i began my journey recently so mayb u could help me with some tips...

  • MINE TOO

  • I'm starting my hair jorney as well youtubers please encorage me Love you guys.lata

  • i see why you cut it.. even if u did wash and go... that hair had to be heavy gurl!!

it looks nice both ways tho.. but i guess super long is a lot of maintenance??

  • Yup! The relaxed hair was a waste, it was using up too much conditioner, took a lot of time to detangle and took a long time to dry. Sometimes I miss the length, other days, I want to do another BC becuase I loveddddd the short length.

  • when my hair was relaxed it looked similar to yours

  • beautiful video!! you did a great job girly!! your hair will be long in no time =)) you have beautiful curls!!
