  • Classic Siouxsie.

  • Is it just me, or is that Michael Myers on that Bass Guitar?

  • What on Earth is McGeoch doing with his guitar here... God he was amazing.

  • Whats the symbol of two triangles? Unique dark singing preformance

  • The symbol on Siouxsie's t-shirt is the Star Of David.

  • lol. This is awesome!

  • omg, how does he get that sound out of his guitar

  • Come on, Pedrow, I"m not knocking him, but, please, try a little to educate yourself. It's not unique, you should ask yourself, though, who is the man Les Paul?

  • what are you talking about? educate myself in what?

  • I agree with Khultan. You must ask yourself. Who IS the man Les Paul? Please, educate yourself.

  • @leaq what the fuck do you know about guitar effects. please educate your fucking self

  • Leaq and Khultan have a point, though you know...

It is very easy to burst into flame, but maybe you ask yourself who is the man Les Paul first.

Is it unique? I think not, sir.

  • As the young people say, "I'd beat 'em up"

GOodness, she's so attractive on so many levels. *shudder*

  • gotta love the drums :)

  • John McGeoch probably the most innovative Banshees' guitarist. Rest in peace.

  • Siouxsie is incomparable here.

  • i just took the time to see this vid..."it's the best 7 mins i'll never remember..."

the heart beating from bass n drums and the mind's eye wailing from the guitarist has single handedly made me immune to horror movies. Sioux's writhing, haunting dolly dancing has built a solid wall in my imagination to keep sanity/insanity apart and controlled. briiliantly dark artistry.

  • sheesh you sound like a critic from NME!

  • a critic? w/e... you misunderstand what I typed.

  • AWESOME! SIOUXSIE YOU AND YOUR BAND GOTH ROCK AND ROLL! *claps*

  • She's soooooooo creepy, or at least she was, I love it, I love Siouxsie.

  • She is look like Sandman's Death.

    Goddess...

  • Sandman's Death looks like Sixousie.

  • right!

  • This must be the Juju tour, which was great. I saw her live at the NYC Ritz and it was unforgettable. Thank you for the memorie.

  • 'kin awsome - thanks for posting!

  • sound is awesome, music is riveting, voice magic

  • GFIAFP.

  • WAY ahead of their time.

  • Amazing. Banshees are timeless.

  • No me gusta ni la música ni la estética ni nada de esto

  • por k ?deves de tener una respuesta razonable

  • Se respeta tu opinión, mas no se comparte...

  • If I was a woman........I'd be Siouxsie.

  • This is one of the creepiest songs of Juju. That whole album is pure genius. We need more bands like The Banshees.

  • what type of guitar is that i noticed alot of the bands in urgh music war (gang of four ETC)had that also. it isnt a les paul. that effect is crazy. peeps r gangsta.

  • is a yamaha sg 1000

  • It's a Yamaha SG 2000, like a thru-neck constructed Les Paul nc90.

  • deez peeps gotz da jamz...fa realzies.

    get out.

this tune makes me want to break dance, who's got the cardboard?

  • my god,this is marvelous!!!

  • Siouxsie RULES=D

    I LOVE them!!!<333333

  • I like the way she dances...

  • I saw Siouxsie at the tower theater in 92. She was great plus one of the stage bouncers was a little too rough with someone and she stopped the show and threated to "come down there and kick his ass". Hahah Love her!

  • cute :3

  • Siouxsie!! Oh Gosh I'd give a Hand only to see you sing.. once more! YOU are Great, my Cleopatra, my moonlight...

  • Thank you, skywalker74, for posting all of these great Siouxsie vids. Fabulous! I've never heard or seen some of these songs live, and it is wonderful to finally hear them live from the period. Great stuff! Great stuff! Is this concert out on a DVD? I want it.

  • I saw The Banshees on Halloween night in '81 at the Ritz in NYC and when they did this song, I have to admit..I was totally creeped out (in a good way!). It was sooo effective and amazing. I remember her falling on the stage and screaming with all that feedback and screeching, great drumming. That gig is one of the best I was ever at, what a great time period and great memory! I love this footage. THANKS!

  • Amazing. Banshees are timeless.

  • Why did Siouxsie say "get out"?

  • LOVE SIOUXSIE!!!! thank u soooooooooooooo much 4 for footage!

  • veronika sorrow figures that if she acts just like siouxsie

    everybodys going to love her

    bwahahahahahahaha

  • who is Veronika Sorrow?

  • Who Cares?????

  • what a voice!

  • fucking amazing! I LOVE this song!! Beautiful

  • Why don't they bring this out on DVD? To my knowledge there's nothing official...This is so breathtaking! <3

  • The beginning reminds me of the unconscious...a dark mist rising from the abyss, a plague on the mind...Total Freudage. Excellent

  • one of the best bands of all time, superb performance, thanks siouxsie sioux..the way eve white/eve black blends into this track on Nocturne is amazing

  • this is my ultimate Siouxsie song, I love it to bits.

  • is there a dvd available of this cologne concert? this is siouxsie at her vocally vital period same goes for the banshees musically.

  • Watch her giving everything she's got.

    Best female singer...ever.

Glad i saw them on the 1981 tour.

JuJu is my fav album. A pity Israel wasn't on it.

Thank u John (RIP), Steve and Budgie too for bringing us these brilliant tracks.

  • Ya know what - Israel came INSIDE the early PVC releases of Juju as a bonus single! That is how I got mine. It had a white plain sleeve as opposed to the gold sleeve for the 7" released as an import here in the US (I sound like some nutty record collector, I am not but you just reminded me of that). Juju is my fave album too and John my fave Banshee guitarist.

  • Lol, I just realised almost all the banshees guitarists were called John.

  • Well then fuck off!!!!!!!!!!! Go watch guy videos then. We don't need you.

  • dude I cannot believe you just said that...

  • fuck u urkingod. i cant stand a man singing myself!

  • I'm Siouxsified because of her new album.

  • me too.

  • siouxsie es una diosa lastima que no venga a sudamerica dese hace mucho.

  • My fav Siouxsie song.

  • Love that amazing guitar.

  • "Get out"! Gorgeous...Siouxsie allways spoke her mind on stage: As to Smith and Severin:"Can we get out of tuning quicker"! or to the blokes on the mixing desk: "are you getting a distortion problem or what?!" Finally the best one was on a tour in Berlin, as someone in the audience kept on shouting "more, more"...Siouxsie: "more wot?!" "more power"? "take the flour out of your ears!"....

  • without slagging off robert smith, but this version is 10x better than on "nocturne"....

  • I agree. This is much better.

  • this is the best song I've ever herd!

  • siouxsie es lo mejor me encanta esta cancion

  • Awesome live performance. Idiot lighting people, when she says turn off the da** lights turn them off!

  • pray to the siouxsie goddess...

  • I frickin LOVE this whole show. Wish I could've been alive then.

  • I saw them during this tour. At the time I was a total Misfits fan. I chose to see Siouxsie instead. She was absolutely phenominal. John Mc Geoch's guitar work was flawless.

  • Damn, lucky you!!

  • And may I say that Siouxie at 24 at the time, looked damned sexy. Gyrating her hips and sashaying about stage like that!

  • Oh, not lucky. Just old. But thanks anyway.

  • You're very welcome. :)

  • My pleasure. You like the great bands. And you like the silent movies too. Not many kids like this stuff. Cool!

  • i thought the live version of this song on nocturne was nothing short of spectacular, but this is totally awesome.

  • AMO A SIOUXSIE....

  • fuckin fantastic. still gives me chills after a quarter century

  • I forgot to add; their best performance of this song I've seen yet.

  • Amazing . were so good live

  • and she made you so unaware! are u listening to your fear?

  • Her voice sounds amazing alive. The part around 3:25 when she sorta growls-yells made me shiver!! Such power!

  • I feel for whoever girl the song's referring to- as if you can't.

  • yes but it sounds like the girl in the song is a dangerous life sucker who preys on the innocent

  • lol i know what u mean

  • "get out"...i suppouse she's talking about the lights ...

  • I love this song mostly because of the lyrics and the hauntingness of the music and her voice go together.

The dancing was wierd but then that was probably the 'It' thing back then.

  • Yeah...That dancing thing part of her persona. Some others had strange dancing styles to but alot of musicians from the 80's either didn't dance or were very laidback doing it. Performance was a big part of these avant garde styles.

  • just wonderfull.. i never saw her on stage in the 80's it was 1993 when i saw her for the first time, it was amazing then, wonder how it was in the 80's??

  • probably one of those shows that in later time you would still get high over...

  • I'm addicted to this one!

  • This is so great, I wish I could've been there! ..I must've died young sometime in the 80's.

  • I don't dance beyond pogo

  • always loved this song

  • Only she can get away with that. No one else attempt it anywhere at any time, you'll only humiliate herself. Would have been a perfect performance without that camera, I think, she's such a great performer. I really like this song, too.

  • I like men and I would have hit that...

  • ha...

me too, actually i did hit somethign that looked just liek that.

  • i liek men too, but i did a girl who looked liek ehr so im proud of myself ahah

  • HaHa I like women so obviously I wouldn't say "No" :)

  • Me too...X)

  • Excellent performance... she was at her best here

  • ha....

its chill, damn how the hell does she do that jumping dance thing she does so well?

  • Lol AND without looking like an idiot/loony! Its an amazing mystery...

  • seriously...

damn i so wish i couldk dance like that, i dont think it's phsyically possible

  • Unless your feet were on fire or something. But even then thered be that looking like a loony problem again...

  • i think we need to find her and have her teach us how to do it. she must have soem sort of power

  • Ooh yes! She lives in france doesn't she? I'm going in march with my school! I shall convince the bus driver to take a "short cut" until we find her. The mysterious dancing power will guide us!

  • oops dunno why the double post happened, soz

  • ha....

its chill, damn how the hell does she do that jumping dance thing she does so well?

  • I just looked at your video and you look kind of like Siouxsie Sioux in my opinion. You look great!

  • for the camera to not go on her

  • Oh right it looked like she was talking to some invisible fly or friend or something :P

  • haha oh right I thought she was talking to some invisible fly or friend or something :P

  • That was really funny hahaha

i'm sure that she was talking to a fly..

Oh.. Juju is one of my favorites records from Siouxsie and The Banshees!

    ******

  • I believe she was talking to the spotlights (or the person running them) as she likes to do this song mostly cloaked in darkness to heighten the effect. Always been one of my favourites and the live versions are always best, a la Nocturne.

  • What's she saying get out to?
