I am doing some research before purchasing a Honda Ruckus. More than likely I'll buy a new one if I can find a dealership close enough to where I live. What I would like to know is how many miles can a Honda Ruckus reach on the odometer (50,000, 100,000, 150,000, etc.)? This information will help me decide if I should buy one of these. Will it last long or die within a few miles?

@pveg65 Despite it being 50cc's. You'll only be slow for the first 10mph, I'm 220ish and I am still getting up over 40mph pretty easily. It's really only slow during the first few blocks of riding. After that, I feel like I'm 170lbs again, lol. You can also try looking for the Big Ruckus which is 250cc's or consider a gy6 motor swap.

Bend your elbows! Your arms are locked, which takes away most, to all, of your control of the bike. You don't have to bend them much, just unlock your arms, relax, and lean forward a little. Makes a huge difference in your ability to control the machine rather than it controling you.

Ha ha 3:57 to 4:03 that zoom is louder than hell, it makes it even more obvious at what he's doing. I own a Yamaha C3 if you compare these two stock vs. stock the C3 is what I prefer the C3 is fuel injected and the Ruckus is not the C3's injection throttle body is larger than the stock Ruckus's carb. The Ruckus has more mods for it though because it's lower tech. My stock C3 goes 45mph it goes past the 40mph speedometer limit.

When I ride my moped, even though it only tops 40 mph, I always wear protective clothing. A motorcycle jacket with protective pads, thick gloves, a helmet that fully covers my face, at least denim jeans and high shoes. Yes, it may get a little hot when the temperature gets above 90, but your body scraping on the road hurts a lot more.

it is a spray called "NiteShade".... you can get it on ebay for under 20 bucks, lasts a while. i did my zx3 tail lights, and my ruckus lights, and still have a bunch left. it is basically a translucent spray paint, awesome stuff.
