@CloudWatcherX i believe "will it blend" was a show on tv or the internet, where regardless of what an object was (ex transformers toy, cell phones), it was thrown into a blender to see what happens to it. i think the joke on robots is that it's a funny thought that "robots can do anything," but they pose the question, "will it blend?"

Actually it does not solve the basic problem of what happens after the jump. It would need a periscope or some machine vision method (or lidar) to work out what awaits it after it jumps. The jump is a type of irreversible process because once you are airborne you cannot easily turn or stop yourself. Interesting idea but not terribly original. How long does the compressed air last?
