The ruddy duck is a full speices from North America they are feral in the UK.The ruddy duck is a migratory speices and in the UK it still migrates and that takes them to Spain.Thats where the ruddy ducks ENDANGERED close relitive lives the (white-headed duck)IT'S this is the speices where the ruudy duck is a the big problem.Coz ruddys and white-headed look so much alike it can be very hard to near impossible to tell pure ruddy from,pure white heads,from ruddy/white-head hybrids.
