  • celtic and liverpool 4 ever YNWA

  • it dosent matter if your protestant or catholic on mersyside, but it matters if your red or blue.

  • at what point in this song does it say well gurad old derrys walls ?

  • what do celtic fans think now about their supposed 'special relationship''

  • @b68scotland Im celtic through and through and this has nothing to do with religion.

    get a life.ynwa.

  • @b68scotland It's all in their tiny minds, admitidly there are some Liverpoool fans who like them, but it's very exaggerated. I personally know alot more who prefer Rangers or just don't like Celtic. But at the end of the day we're all Liverpool fans and it's just a side issue.

  • quality

  • No divisionist songs with Liverpool's crowd - Irish, English, Scottish, fielda of Athenry, walk on, 4 leaf clover and the one above - the way it should be.

Its not about catholic and protestant, its about being together against yer real enemies - watch out cos Camerons cronies are about to kick off in earnest.

  • Haven't heard this in ages. I used to sing this on the Kop as a kid.

The Evertonians had a funny version of it which finished with:

"...We'll fight the fight for Liverpool,

coz the can't fight for themselves

    1,2,3,4,

    Listen to the Kopites roar,

    Nah, nah, nanah, nah,

    Haven't done me homework,

    Jackanory, Jackanory"

    :¬)

  • liverpool/rangers site up on facebook..go to this account and click on the link.

  • bring this chant back!

  • good post, leave all that rubbish to people in scotland

  • big jock knew

  • Your right i don't see no secterian words or phrases in the lyrics of that song. I don't understand what the nationalist problems are with that

  • Maybe you should learn the real words to the song before commenting then mate!!

  • So if Liverpool sing a club song to a loyalist tune that makes them loyalist does it? lmao. By that reckoning the Rangers fans who stole the tune to Athenry for that awful sectarian ditty are Republicans then? BULLSHIT.

Liverpool fans (And I know many) want no part of Glasgows seedy bigotry. When Scotland leaves the 1920s they might let you into the Premiership.

  • A dont see why Rangers fans would want to be friends with a club like liverpool, they dont have our british values the olny other club that can think of that have those is chelsea who show like the loyal gers fans what country they are from, and that is the shores of great britian as they always wave union jacks and england flags unlike liverpool who wave the rebel flag at anfield.

    God Save The Queen.

  • @davidrfc I have heard some twatty comments on youtube but your's is the best I have seen in a long while. Chelsea fly tricolours, I have seen them at Anfield and they have many Irish and Catholic followers as well. They don't fly many Union flags either it's mainly St Georges crosses. A thing which you see more often now. Btw how many bands and lodges are there down Chelsea way?

  • Aye cause Rangers are the only team in Scotland with a sectarian problem (sarcasm) twat.

  • i rite

  • agreed

  • What is it with all this Celtic , Liverpool please love us, bottom line is i`ve travelled all over England watching Celtic and experienced nothing but anti irish/ catholic hostility, fuck liverpool man u and the rest..hail hail

  • prod or taig black or white ,the kop took the songs from everyone and made them their own.

  • rangers and chelsea rent boys god bless liverpool fc and glasgow celtic .

  • My favorite song =)

The song is in the framework of a loyalist song but Liverpool is not catholic nor protestant. However, I prefer celtic.

    YNWA

  • this was a gers song first , liverpools lyrics are different tho , people always try and copy rangers songs , smh

  • Your Season is over - why don;t you go home?

  • Ian St.John i just found out he played for motherwell

  • ofcourse ofcourse despite that song the scousers singing is the loyalist derrys walls ;)

  • I'm not a fan of your football (soccer) being an American but if I were I'd back the Celtics in Glasgow, too much naked bigotry against Catholics by Ranger fans for my tastes.

  • have you been to celtic park recently? could hear a pin drop, was there at a works meeting then out to the game, freezing, bored to tears and they sung the same song twice,,,atmosphere? you must be kidding

  • NO SURRENDER !! FROM CANADA !!

  • I see Celtic fans commenting on this video saying it's just the majority of the Rangers support that are sectarian and that the Celtic fans are good little angels. Do they forget that a majority of both clubs fans are sectarian? Even Celtic have majority of sectarian fans.

  • Who gives a fuck what it is its a class song. We're Liverpool fuck Celtic and fuck Rangers

  • YASSSSSSSS

  • RANGERS the worlds most successful club but the old firm hass the best atmosphere

  • Trying to make friends haha, liverpool don't give a shit about celtic.

  • liverpool & rangers , fuck celtic , im a liverpool fan

  • YNWA Hail Hail

  • liverpool & rangers

  • If you say so timmy.

Parkhead has a shyte atmosphere but if you peddle a lie often enough,it becomes fact.

  • So, this is loyalism? It's shite by the way.. I wouldn't want to be loyal to yon country..

  • Loyalism isn't sectairian you absolute muppet.

Of course being a Celtic fan anything associated with Rangers will offend you

  • Lol, a tim trying to accuse Rangers of sectarianism.

  • no surrender

  • Despite the advancement of society, they continue to live their lives in a bigoted and intolerant manner as if they were still living in 'the grand old days of yore'. In Scotland the clocks go forward an hour every year - unless you're a Rankers fan -- in which case they go back three hundred years !

  • why are Liverpool fans singing this?

  • Sounds ok to me - The tune of Derrys Walls, so what? Doesn't need bigotry and then finishes with HAIL HAIL - what a prick. Better stop singing scouser tommy then hadn't we (SASH). The clubs' an Orange one and the sooner people accept it's history the better, Orange lodges are at their most prevelent in Liverpool more than anywhere else in England - get over it. Crying into a green white and gold pint wont make a jot of fuckin difference.

  • You can't have been a supporter very long if you've never met a scouse Loyalist!

  • i agree with you and coming from glasgow liverpool unite both sides of the division in northern ireland though being a rangers fan i cant understand why lol the song is based on derry walls lol we'll fight but not surrender wherever duty calls with our hearts and hand and sword and shield we'll guard old derrys walls

so it is based on a loyalist song lol

  • @glasgowmod68 Yeah its an odd one. I always thought Liverpool were basically a Catholic team because of their singing 'You'll Never Walk Alone' with Celtic whenever they play them, and the fact that Liverpool has had a fairly high amount of Irish immigration. Then I see things like this and read about how people support Liverpool and Rangers :S lol

  • rangers and liverpool

    simply the best

  • We'll fight for Alun Evans, We'll fight for Ian St John, we'll fight, fight fight for Liverpool the team that Shankly bred ? Whats wrong with that. Who could be offended by these words ?

  • Plenty of Celtc fans clearly are.

  • im liverpool fan and im keepin loyalisim honest gd number liverpool fans wel large amount english like rangers

  • do loyalists and republicans support the pool m8 RIP to the 96

  • I'm not a Liverpool fan but I commend them for their Loyalism, why are they forgetting this?

  • whats loyalism got to do with wigan?

  • because not all people in liverpool are protestants, hence why they are forgetting this

  • the words are nothing to do with loyalism, why are you forgetting this pie man?

  • what is the lyrics to that it sounds completely diffirent to the rangers version?

  • These were great days I was in the middle with Bucket waving our flags this was then a Community and all would meet for away games at

Crown Coachways and if away matches were cancelled we would attend Reserve Games

  • THE KOP makes me proud to be a liverpool fan
