wrong dude....you are right as i lay dying does use vocal fry. however i'm sorry to break it to you but i had the pleasure of talking to mitch lucker himself after their buffalo mayhem fest date. i asked about their music, why they do it, and what method he used. he said a good majority of their recordings are vocal fry. not all of them, but most of what you hear, is....i have no way of proving it obviously, but its true.

its the technique. you can do a LOT with your voice using the same technique. i just don't use many growly lows in this one because this is not a deathcore song. like i said before they are 2 very different bands using the same screaming method which is why i do not sound exactly like either of them. which is the point. its my voice, not theirs...so if you really hate it that much, go watch something else dude, idk what else to tell ya
