  • lol, processors are more than 90 %

  • lol @ wants to marry your ram

  • Interesting. There's no package for Debian though and you can't use PPA's in Debian. I well I COULD build from source I guess.

  • @TheGeo913 You CAN use PPA's in Debian, however it isn't exactly recommended. Really depends on what your installing...

  • @lindsaymobil22 I see... Yeah I don't think the Debian folks recommend it. I think your right... :) Depends what your installing ;)

  • Looks nice and simple. I'll have to try it out on Arch when I get home.

  • Sneeky, can I call you Siri?

  • @BinaryLinux if you want to mate

  • I just tested Razor-QT today, and it worked fast and smooth on my system. Some bugs still, but that's just normal I guess (WIP). KDE is the standard DE on my computer, so I got Razor-QT with KDM and it actually really looked like KDE (same animations etc. and Oxygen widget style and borders.). Very lightweight.

  • Hey sneeks great video m8 nice to see new stuff covered by the maestro.

  • looks like windows 98

  • I've got my razor-qt install working fairly well, but that's mostly due to installing things like gtk2-engine-qtcurve, etc.. and using a gtk theme switcher to change it to Qt Curve.. then setting Qt to use the Gtk style.. it seems to match fairly well.. and if I don't mind a bit more RAM usage, I use the kwin session.. seems it like to be stabbed onto OpenSUSE better than Debian atm.. but we'll see in due time how it progresses.. :D

  • @Sansui350A too true mate, debian side does not do it too well at the moment, but after i made the video i installed it on a stand alone machine which was native with kde and had a lot better experience

  • I'm really excited with all the new desktop environments coming out. It's nice to get something fresh.

  • don't you use ffmpeg for screen casting i find it works very well along side audacity because i like to keep audio in a separate file to level it it out before i sync and edit the video. i also wrote a little bash script with all the parameters set to make it easy to start recording.

  • @morgohill i normally do at most times for a lot of videos, but this time it was easier to use xvidcap..always have a backup plan mate, just in case

  • I had trouble with getting the wireless network running on mine... might be my messed around install of bodhi linux though, I may try and install this on Linux Mint lxde... think it might be a winner....Linux mint razor-qt...mmm

  • hey seeky, what about a video on cinamon? ;)

    hug!

  • @JackPidwell i have recorded it but am not sure whether to lad it up yet geezer

  • i ont like this distro
