sorry! he was outstanding!second game in nba.one or two of the best dunk ever...block...rebounds...he try to win at the end...simply he was the best from first time touch the nba ground!
Ive always regarded that two hand windmill as the best in-game dunk ive ever seen, the distance he jumps from is crazy. There must be another camera view of that alley-oop at 2.15 .... i swear his head must be above the rim.
lol at "he just wants to draw a foul here, that's all". cause everyone knows you can't score once you've run on a basket and then flew behind it, right? it's too difficult and no-one does it ever.
i don't blame the guy though, how could he know what was coming...

@adi1096 what the hell r u talking bout Jordan is the best there ever will be and LeBron is just a traitor that doesn't respect his team but only himself. As me being a big celtics fan myself i have no hate for Kobe except for being arrongant. Dude just shut up MJ IS KING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@adi1096 lebron: best stats are u kidding me..... jordan in his rookie season averaged 28.2 ppg and scored the most points out of everyone in the league. he averaged a career stat of 30 ppg. CAREER STAT!
@adi1096 and jordan has a better fg % and lebrons 3pt percent is only over by .o4 which will likly drop later in his career seeing how we are comparing someone who hasnt played for half of his career yet. i honestly dont know how ur comparing lebron and jordan and saying lebron has better stats. please go look at jordans stats and look at jordans records and acheivments and maybe you will get a better understanding at how great he was.
ok fine jordan scores but i mean overall rpg apg bpg and ppg I know jordan was a beast defensively too but i'm just saying stats wise i believe lebron to be the best
@adi1096 how do you say stat wise lebron is better just because lebron has a better rebounding stat by like 2, did lebron have any rebounding BEASTS on his team? no.... jordan had RODMAN on his team rebounding lik 16 boards a game, ofcourse jordans rebounding would be lower.
@adi1096 how do you say stat wise lebron is better just because lebron has a better rebounding stat by like 2, did lebron have any rebounding BEASTS on his team? no.... jordan had RODMAN on his team rebounding lik 16 boards a game, ofcourse jordans rebounding would be lower.
so by looking at statistics as a team, (because you like statistics so much) it seemed that lebron and his cavs had a better team overall by winning in all three categories.
and in the conclusion of both years, the cavs were eliminated and embarassed in round 2 of the playoffs while the bulls went to win the 90-91 championships almost sweeping magic johnson and the LA lakers 4-1
If you pause this at 2:14.....that just isn't fair. Michael had a long career after this game but he never got that high again. Method Man and Redman can't get you that high.
Now, that was some tough, hand checking defense being played there. I mean, did you see the Bucks guys sliding there feet to take a charge and or hammering the great MJ. Hell, Kobe would not last a game back in the 80's! Those guys were sooo tough.
@maxwellProctor I don't understand all these Kobe fanboys who can't stand the fact that Michael Jordan is far superioir to their hero. This was MJ's SECOND professional game. He was 21 years old. Kobe still has splinters in his ass from sitting on the bench his rookie year, whereas MJ led his team in every statistical category. Who won the game? I guess Kobe has never played well in a game the Lakers lost? MJ never lost when it mattered - in the Finals. He was 6 for 6 with 6 MVP awards.
@VinmanMJ23 dude if jordan was so great how come he kept getting his ass kicked by detroit in the playoffs until pippen and phil came along?? yeah people only talk about the six years jordan won the title but never about the rest of his career?
@agentnono24 Dude, Pippen was there every time the Piston beat them, he joined in 87, as did Grant. Phil was an assistant when the Pistons beat 'em and was head coach the last time the Pistons beat 'em.
@agentnono24 pistons had a great team. Jordan did not. michael carried the team to the playoffs every year from his rookie year and played well against the best teams but 1 players will not beat a great team in a series. win a game or two which the bulls did but not win it all. pippens development was due to jordans influence which jordan pippen and jackson concure in multiple documentations.
@agentnono24 his entire career was special. was dominant from day 1. look for yourself. bulls were not in the playoffs before he played. multiple scoring titles. all defensive teams. a season mvp and a all star mvp. should have been mvp from 87-93. by far the most best player in the game during that time. magics mvps should be jordan by numbers alone.
there is no question jordan is #1... NO QUESTION.. if he missed some shots, he'd make them later... if he wanted to steal, he'd get it, if he was fouled hard, hed just go back and dunk on their a.. go mj
Yes he did, thats why he's the best, he never took a day off.(unlike kobe) these young cats that think that Kobe and Lebron are the shit aint nothing compared to MJ. i'll defend His airness any day of the week until the day I die because I thank the lord I was around to see Mj do his thing. Look at all his videos they post about Mj and you'll learn for yourself. REAL nba PLAYERS KNOW WHO THE BEST IS AND ALways will be!
@ironbull2003 You can't look at stats and tell how well someone played. Jordan played on a level that kobe and leebron haven't in terms of consistency and clutch play
@ironbull2003 sorry but when lebron can get a "defensive player of the year"(like mike) award, then you can compare his defense to jordans. jordans 88' stats.
35+ppg. 8.0app 8.0rpg. IN ONE SEASON!! james hasent touched that yet.
Please man, even josh smith averages more blocks then james.
True about the leading thier teams, but jordan lead in ALL stats on his team(other then FG%,.) in his first year.
the dunk at 4:56 is inhuman. The flying motion is unbelievable on that dunk. I think this is the greatest dunk that I have seen MJ do. To be honest, there are several dunks in his so called top 10 dunks, that are not so special by MJ standards.
From the dotted circle. Not even as nice as the cradle dunk he'd drop on the Knicks in the Garden a few weeks later. MJ is so much better than anyone else that it's not even worth debating.
I believe they were dunks. Similar to the Jordan 1's but I recall seeing a picture of him wearing some other Nikes. I have been looking but the website of his pictures is shut down for some reason =/
Looks as if Jordan is playing in a Senior Citizen's league or something. He took the NBA by storm. Opposing teams were not even remotely ready to defend this new breed of an athlete...
I can't believe he pulled off all those moves in just his second NBA game! It's pure joy to watch him at this stage; his game is still raw but you can spot glimpses of what he'd eventually become. And then there's the athletic aspect -- holy cow! The evolution of MJ's game is a thing of beauty.
Great upload. The natural, pure athleticism combined with the natural improvisational instincts combined with the congenital body control were all singular from day one. This perfect blend of physical gifts cannot be taught or practiced and it's unlikely that it will ever happen again. And if it did, you'd still need the supersized hands of course.
Hoops you're every where man! Great Christmas gift this upload Balthus23...and indeed, I'd agree with the above. Add the insatiable desire to win along with ideal size, and an early mastery of fundamentals from years in College and there's little chance for such a near perfect physical replication...
mj was the best since February 17, 1963 to 2003

tali1542 1 year ago
@adi1096 lets do a comparison of stats now that can work.
now lets compare lebrons 3rd and 5th year (best overall years) with jordans 3rd and fifth years.
lebron year 3: 7 rpg, 6.6 apg,1.6spg, .80bpg,31.4ppg
jordan year 3: 5.2rpg,4.6apg, 2.88spg!. 1.52 bpg!, 37.1 PPG!!!!
winner jordan
lebron year 5: 7.9rpg,7.2apg,1.8 spg,1.1bpg, 30ppg
jordan year 5: 8rpg, 8spg, 2.9spg!, .80bpg,32.5ppg!
winner jordan
so don't say stat wize lebron is the best.... jordan did EVERYTHING
tali1542 1 year ago
@adi1096 also lets break down jordans 7th year, with lebrons 7th year.
as a team, the 90-91 bulls were 61-21, the 09-10 cavs were 61-21.
for points, the bulls had only 3 people with 10+pts, (jordan31.5,pipen17.8,grant12.8)
the cavs had 4 (james29.7,mo15.8,jamison15.8,shaq12)
rebounding: bulls had 4 ppl with 5 + rpg(grant8.4,pippen7.3,cartwright6.2,MJ6)
cavs had 6 ppl(jamison7.7,varejao,7.6,LBJ7.3,shaq6.7,bigZ 5.4,hickson5)
assists: bulls had 2 ppl with 5+(MJ6.2,pippen5.5)
CONTINUED
tali1542 1 year ago
@tali1542 CONTINUED
cavs had 2 ppl with 5+ assists (lebron8.6,mo5.3)
so by looking at statistics as a team, (because you like statistics so much) it seemed that lebron and his cavs had a better team overall by winning in all three categories.
and in the conclusion of both years, the cavs were eliminated and embarassed in round 2 of the playoffs while the bulls went to win the 90-91 championships almost sweeping magic johnson and the LA lakers 4-1

From the dotted circle. Not even as nice as the cradle dunk he'd drop on the Knicks in the Garden a few weeks later. MJ is so much better than anyone else that it's not even worth debating.

yeah, one of the greatest dunks i've ever seen.

Yo man what shoes did MJ wear this game? just wondering cuz i don't remember Jordan signing with anyone at this time?
dimedropper1992 2 years ago
I believe he signed with Nike they just didn't have his signature shoes until the second half of the rookie year.

i kno but specifically what shoes was it at this time?
dimedropper1992 2 years ago
I believe they were dunks. Similar to the Jordan 1's but I recall seeing a picture of him wearing some other Nikes. I have been looking but the website of his pictures is shut down for some reason =/

Looks as if Jordan is playing in a Senior Citizen's league or something. He took the NBA by storm. Opposing teams were not even remotely ready to defend this new breed of an athlete...

Jordan > Lebron
