This was a very good win for KSU because it sprung them to life and makes the big 12 a stronger conference when they are playing well. I'm a KU fan and sure enough KSU beat the hell outta em in this game which in my opinion was good for both teams. KSU fans have a right to be happy with this win. Hopefully texas can pull something together soon and all the big 12 schools can do decent at the big show this year.

I tend to not take my information from message boards. google "pat forde ku cutting corners" 1st link. I was focusing on major basketball programs where kansas leads the pack in cheating. And all it proves is kansas is the best at cheating, which actually is admirable in some regards.

In the last 55 years KU has 6 major NCAA infractions....the EXACT same amount as KSU. I'm all for debate, but how about if you do some research before you accuse? @rawtashk the difference is KSU didnt receive sanctions (postseason bans, loss of scholarships, recruiting limits, ect) for our infractions like kansas did for theirs. either way, its still true kansas basketball has had more probations(5) than any other ncaa basketball program (the 2nd most has 3). they cheat to win. end of story.

You can see that there are 2 other schools with 5 violations, and several with 4. They outplayed you most of the way, were up by 9 points with less than 2 minutes left, and if their guys could have hit a freaking free-throw down the stretch, your squawks would be a bridesmaid and a memory. You won by the opposing team's incompetence. One game, I guess, does not a national champion make.

@mk41794 that is flawed logic. See, KU had to win multiple times in a tournament setting to reach the final game. Also, the fact that they won a championship game means that they get awarded the title of "National Champion". Now, had the KU KSU game been for the Big12 championship, then KSU would be Big 12 champions, no matter what. As it is, it's just a meaningless mid-season game. Well, it might be what saves KSU from the NIT, but for KU it was pretty meaningless.
