@Zegnorio yeah, it does look like it was going to miss. However ,there is a slight chance Voli was already flinging Renek when the arrow got there so it made Renek untargetable. I don't think that's how fling works, so if the arrow was going to hit it would've stunned him mid-air during the fling...

@KorruptorK yeah i have to agree with you. that arrow was more than half way past ren. I guess it all depends on whether the arrows point of impact is at the tip (which makes sense) or at the rear (which is possible but unlikely). and acutally you can see about a frame before the throw ren starts a movement animation heading either down or back towards voli (with an insane reaction time if i do say so myself).

Arrow was never going to hit because of Amumu's Bandage toss. Very easy to confirm this by pausing the video just before the toss. You can see the arrow is almost halfway past Renekton and he hasn't been moved by the toss yet.

when voli first came out i was playing jarvan and ganking the enemy voli top with our top lane GP and i only had a small amount of hp and my flash was down but i went in anyway coz i figured kill on GP worth more than on voli, soon as i ulted, voli flipped me out of my cataclysm so he was stuck in it with no hp and a full hp gp and i was outside it with 1 hp. volis are always bad at this game haha

watching at 1/4 speed, looks like the arrow was already past him before the toss. you can freeze the frame and see half the the arrow already cleared renek.

That wouldnt have hit, the arrow was on top of renekton as he was flipped, the way this game works is, CC applies with animations, such as Taric stun onto a jumping tristana, the arrow just barely missed before voli flipped him. Still funny either way. inb4rage.

@SolidFake ohh, i play both Ashe n Nida a lot, and im pretty sure, Ashe's ulti has bigger affecting area than Nida's spear. if the hitbox of Ashe's ulti is an apple, nid's spear is only a lemon.
