  • Totally not worth the money now in my opinion. Mayb 2 years ago but now I wouldn't pay more than $500 at the most. Seeing as the 2600k beats it most of the time in anything lightly threaded because of its high IPC. But if your gonna pay $500 for a processor I would go Sandy E anyways. You can get a 6 core faster than this one.

  • can i use that on my lenovo sl5100 and my r400?

  • Comment removed

  • in Malaysia,it's only RM800

  • i want this so bad :(

  • can i get a freebie?...

  • centrino ftw

  • How much does this cost?

  • Comment removed

  • @XxJacitiXx can cost anywhere from 800 to 1000 dollars lol. not sure exactly. i got one free though...

  • @ThatBoredShow FREE?!?!?

  • @alMinTaGaming yeh.. either free or a very big discount i forgot...

  • @XxJacitiXx £800 in the uk so about $1230

  • that i7 should I buy?

    i7 2600 3.4 GHZ SK1155 8MB

    I7 870 2.93 GHZ SK1156 8 MB

  • @juanmanuel7712 i7-2600k

  • @juanmanuel7712 take the 2600k

  • i got a Pentium 4 its owns.

  • @asian3n3rgi3 yes it does :)

  • it's unfair that reviewers use testing software biased towards intel design. AMD chips are very different. Tom's hardware recently did a review using their own test software and showed the reality of a 1090t thuban core vs core i7 930.

Journalists are just using test software fed to them - rather than doing the hard work to be fully independent and therefore give AMD a fair chance.

Bulldozer are much more capable than "reviews" showed - because the test software is favourable to intel. unfair.

  • I have that CPU! :D

  • @SmartassX1 lol u paid 1000 euros or dolars??

    HOLY SHIT!!!

  • what RAM does it have?

  • im getting a new laptop or desktop for gaming......only problem is that i dont know which brand to use..... AMD or Intel.....Nvidia or ATi.......4 core or 6 core.... i have around 1600 dollars, but what is the best parts for gaming?

  • @MarioMan400 With your budget. Intel. 4 Core. Nvidia. Get Desktop. :)

  • @MarioMan400 Get a cyberpowerpc.

  • @MarioMan400 get a Digital storm PC or Origin PC

  • @TheModernwarfare2009 thanks for the tip, im gonna check them out

  • @MarioMan400 no problem dude ;)

  • @MarioMan400 laptop is not for gaming....go desktop, dont waste more then 1000€ on a gaming rig...casue after 1 year is gone be obsolete....

  • so is this the best intel CPU?

  • @sweyouknow According to Intel yes, but if you dont have the money I would go with the AMD 1055t six core cpu, I have it myself and it's very overclock friendly.

  • intel and nvidia 4 ever fuck you amd

  • @nVidiaGTX100 Fuck Nvidia

  • @TheSicdic fuck you anf fuck amd your bitch

  • @nVidiaGTX100 go kill ya self bitch

  • @TheSicdic you are now blocked amd fanboy pussy

  • @nVidiaGTX100 why you hate AMD? and why u are so agressing with me wtf? what's wrong with you this is my opinion why you fucking swearing.. Nvidia is the best but don't forget about ATI Radeon HD 5990 Toxic Edition 4GB

  • nice :)

Can you make reviews on the core i5 2500k, or maybe core i7 2600k ?

  • @nduchan1 The Sandybridge series is cheap and excellent, that's all you need to know ^_^

  • @dominox64 Thats exactly what a noob will need to know

  • 32 nm= niskie zużycie energi, super wydajność bo możemy zmieścić więcej kondensatorów na waflu :) no i niestety...... większa awaryjność, świat idzie w dobre i za razem złe strony

  • my i5 2500k pwns this

  • @Mimsishere yeah right...

  • @Mimsishere not even close lol

  • One question, do all 2nd generation cpu's haver coolers like that? Or do only the extreame cpu's have it?

  • @MrTpengineer Extreme only

  • @fuloran1 ok thx :)

  • @MrTpengineer The extreme, the 980 and the 970. basically the hexa-core cpu's include the tower cooler.

  • Comment removed

  • The bad thing is Intel's i7 quad's beat Amd 6 cores as far as performance! :)

  • @MrTpengineer yeah, but i7 quad is multi-threated, meaning it has 2 virtual cores per physical core. 1100T only has 6 physical cores. so its 8 cores vs 6.

  • @koenigsegg1000 Amd's has that feature too, only it's hardware enabled I think it's called Quantispeed, but it's not like Intel's where it acts like a 2nd cpu. I had a amd 6 core but it doesn't compare to my i7 now lol.

  • @MrTpengineer it doesnt, only the upcoming Bulldozer will have multithreating, its gonna have 2 cores per Bulldozer module(4 modules=8 cores). Thats why it was meant to perform/outperform the Intel i7 2600K, that would also explain the price similarity. .

  • @koenigsegg1000 Yea, Intel's still got good bus speed and high l2 cache' so 8 physical cores is the same as 4 physical cores with hypertreading, actually intel's coming out with 3d processors which takes advantage of having 1 transistor but with 2 more outputs for each one. so I guess that's 3 i7's put together >:)

  • @MrTpengineer they done a test on toms hardware and found that an i5 2500k with its max stable overclock of 5Ghz actually out performs a 1100t in heavily multi-threaded app even when the 1100t is upto 4.2Ghz

  • @jasontvnd Of course higher end model lol.

  • @MRLegitUser Intel's 2500k beat AMD's processor in the same price range.

  • Whats the difference btween the extreme one and the regular 980x

  • @96stewie96 Unlocked cores.

  • @nicolasito77 i would just upgrade it in general lol with a dedicated graphic card but build i youself thats what i wouldl do if i had the money

  • Intel has come way farer in the progress than AMD but AMD is little better in gaming but i still going Intel!

  • ive got a intel pentium E5800 i think something like that running @2.7 (not overclocked) ghz no graphics card, 512 megabites of ram and 80 gigs of hardrive, im either thinking of upgrading or just getting a new desktop as it is

    what should i do

  • @MRLegitUser AMD>INTEL

  • @MRLegitUser thats better than mines D:

  • @ELNENE000222 GHz isn't everything

  • I got like a 4 year old laptop, its a celeron 900 @ 2.20Ghz

    lol

it sucks...I'm going to be getting a desktop soon and by that I mean I'm building my own.

  • Intel Pentium 4 CPU 1.80 GHz yes laugh at my prossesor -_- ohh yeah 1 core

  • @ELNENE000222 I'm not laughing, I've got the same thing right next to me.

  • Put that heat sink on Jamaica and the country will be so cold lol

  • My laptop just had an orgasm... I can barely run RuneScape and iTunes at the same time with my pussy of a processor...

  • @iiTzBenJi I'm just like you...err...maybe....i can't play certains things at once without it slowing down

  • @SonyDroid It sucks to have a shit processor :/

  • @iiTzBenJi Yeah...mine is a dual core but sometimes its slow...and my video card SUCKS

  • me jelly!

  • i wish i could get it for free

  • @Puppy6394 You bet ufortunatly it is in my country 1 grand

  • Ivy bridge beats all that

  • In some shops, the 990x is less expensive than the 980x..

Why is that? I thought the 990x is better than the 980 x?

I'm talking about the extreme editions by the way.

  • @TheRammsteizer: this one is 6-core, i7-2600K is "only" 4-core. 980X is still a bit faster than 2600K, but its also waaaay more expensive. If you check price/performance, 2600K wins all the way.

  • You mentioned that this was the fastest model. The Intel Core i7 2600k Sandy Bridge processer has 3.4 ghz, so isnt it faster?

  • @TheRammsteizer Well first of all, this was made before the i7 2600k was even released. Second, the 980x is a 6 core processor. The 2600k is only quad core. The 2600k wins in some tests because it has a more efficient architecture and can do more per clock than the older architecture the 980x uses, but the 6 cores of the 980 helps it to win any test that involves multiple threads.

  • this is very expensive than my laptop D;

  • What you have right there... is a treasure!

  • i just got a new tetris game for chrismas? can i use this and 2x 6990s and 24GB ram and have over 30 fps?

  • @WoWkiddymage Nope, you'll need to go to 4-way Crossfire, XD.

  • @Robloxvidsinc hahahaha

  • @WoWkiddymage Yeah, and even then you'll propably ONLY get about 5,000FPS

  • @WoWkiddymage Yeah, and even then you'll probably ONLY get about 5,000FPS

  • @WoWkiddymage No.

  • @WoWkiddymage yes but so laggy

  • The price of this thing will never go down. lol

  • If your going to get this Processor I would go with the ASUS Rampage III Extreme motherboard

  • @NTXStudios whats the point of this cpu? why not just get a sandybridge i7 2600k?

  • I wouldn't really show it off. Mabe make a video on my creation but not bragging about it. You just have to be creative and see what your outcome is. In mabe about a year or two, I would like to build a gaming computer that is hungrily demanding for high specifications.

  • what motherboards are compatible with the i7 6 core processor

  • I should probably let staples do it for me. Mabe even my school since I go to a computer school.

  • @malikrthr1 thats no fun the best part about the computer is making it then showing it off

  • So, you know how to overclock it without running the risk of reducing the life of the computer or burning out the motherboard? I have a laptop with Intel Pentium Inside which came out in 2008. Is there a way for me to get an Intel Core i3, i5, or i7 into my laptop. Replacing the Intel Pentium Inside.

  • @malikrthr1 You CAN for most of them, but you really shouldn't if you haven't done it before.

  • @malikrthr1 most likely not the motherboard might not be compatible with those CPUs

  • hey i am thinking of buying a i5-2400 Processor, but it says "Memory Types DDR3-1066/1333" does that mean i can't use a DDR3-1600 and above?

  • ololol... 4:23

even the sandy bridges got a better architecture

    i got 300 points more in 3dmark06 ;)

    with my i5 2500k

  • @datgv1 I'm interested in buying a 2500, is it worth buying?

  • @laurens557 hell yeah :D

if u wanna overclock, buy the 2500K

  • @datgv1 3D mark 06 is an outdated benchmark. It's not as multi threaded as it could be. Trust me, with heavily multi-threaded apps, the 980x will beat the i7 2600k every time, even when heavily overclocked.

  • @rockgod2131 but not the price lol

  • @fahadmuneeb go sandy bridge like 2600k if ur gunna overclock or just the 2600

  • $1000! holy shit, my whole computer isnt worth that much

  • @fahadmuneeb how's that google translate looking?

  • haha.. this beast doesnt need to be overclocked

  • @Hittman305 Who? Bill Gates?

  • 980x may be the fastest CPU on the market but it's also the most expensive on the market.

  • @RATSHADY Yes but for people with lots of money, it's not a big deal.

  • they may look the same when processing games but strong ones does something else better then the weaker one, like editing videos, running an OS and other stuff

  • i dont get wat cpu does while gaming... loading files ? i mean, its the graphic card that delivers the graphics and fps....

  • @xBuzz996 what a cpu does when gaming is processing the game, the graphics card ONLY provide the graphics.

  • @afiqRevolverHades ok but i havent even seen a god damn diffrence between a strong one then just a little weaker one..

  • @xBuzz996 The cpus job is to process all arithmetic operations basically. If you ran a program with a bunch of

float variables the cpu will reach 100% usage. Games need these operations done so it can calculate your position, life, and other variables. The graphics card just draws to the points it is told to. That is why the fastest connection between a graphics card and a cpu is good.

  • @xBuzz996 For your second statement. If you pair a "little weaker one" P4 with a 6970 you will experience "bottleneck". The "little weaker one" doesn't process as fast as an i7 ,the i7 can give the graphics card instructions faster than a P4 can. Bottleneck is basically when one component lags the whole computer.

  • i want one :( with a gaming graphics card for my gta vc,gta sa and gta iv

  • I want one. =(

  • 21 peoples are not understand for what justin bieber cursed them.

  • i7 2600k

  • I will stick with the quad core until the price comes way down. I am not paying a £1000 for 2 extra cores.

  • Intel > AMD any day any time

  • @PCWizKid, There's A New Intel Core i7 990X Extreme CPU :-D

  • why just not give it to me?:D

  • PCWIZKID TECH TALK... TODAY I M GOING TO FU*K Your MOTHER :D:D:D...

  • i woud like to touch its pins ;)

  • @xav1uz It Doesn't Have Pins..............

  • @GenuineMW2 z0mg!

  • @Sergeyx64 yeah but in norway it cost 10.000kr which is 1700$

  • @Sergeyx64 lo

    Ganz klar KEINE Kaufempfehlung!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • AMD Phenom X6 L3 BE BlackEdition...

  • @ViCEOneTwo Not as Great

  • @cokefan3 and pentium III? =D

  • @ViCEOneTwo Pentium 3 ....BEATS the i7 xD

  • @HFCfreak omfg very funny

  • Itel , intel , intel i7 i love .

  • How long will it take for this CPU to become obsolete. In today's technology growth ??

  • 1700$ -.-

  • who needs 6 cores? seriously? other than people making things like avatar, is this really needed?

  • @TCzelusniak Its for people that have so much money to spend that they dont care about being realistic or efficient. You can't say this thing isn't awesome.

  • How about the AMD DoDeca processor?

  • i must sound like an ass but what software r u suing to test all this clocking?

  • is that a noisy fan at 100%?

  • Comment removed

  • AMD: OMFG, Intel is hyper threading!!

Intel: Muahahahah, AMD = EZ. LOL.

  • @Phenomental1ty

Still sucks that you need to pay 1000 dollars for a 6 core at Intel but only 200 dollars at AMD....

  • @Hokrollo1 but its still cpu after 5-6 years...not like AMD. you will need to buy another AMD after 2-3 years. yeah the intel is really expensive, but this is the best cpu.

  • @Hokrollo1 The Intel i5 750 is actually faster than the AMD 1090T, look up some benchmarks.

  • where do you get the money to buy all this stuff?

  • @epb111 he receives hardware for reviews from Intel, Asus, AMD, etc. mostly for free

  • @duminicad wish i could do that

  • @epb111 you could... but first you must do some relevant reviews and make yourself known... it's not easy as snapping you fingers, but it ain't impossible either, regards.

  • @ihatejustinbeib well for me it said "you may skip the ad in __ sec"

  • It*

  • @neroinaction I got stand UT works fine :P

  • damn man i prefer my i7 930 ;)

i7 extreme lol too much money and a too crazy ^^

  • I FUCKING LOVE YOUTUBE, NOW WE CAN SKIP ADS!

  • best video i like look on more new intel processer

  • @2pacowtlos Just find a settings which will automatically update the time for you...

  • this processor is well expensive nearly £1000

  • @MajorLeagueModderz You got that wrong!

    989 U.S. dollars = 642.332922 UK£

  • I got this one for music production.Runs really great,i love it :)
