The McClaren and Ferrari both have launch control with a similar clutch system. Got comment on the Porsche about that thought. Also, the McClaren has already been put in a straight speed test against the fastest Porsche on Top Gear and left the Porsche behind. So who ever said that the Porsche used in this video would beat the McClaren is sorely mistaken. I prefer a Ferrari any day over any car whether it's quicker or not but that McClaren is an animal of a motor.

Keep all the weight down on the driving wheels. Porsche > everything else. Look how bad Porsche DOMINATED Le Mans when they were entering cars. Twice as many wins as everyone else including Ferrari.

The reason they get paddle shift is not because it keeps your attention on the road, because manual gearboxes are easy, (unless you're American), but because they shift ultra fast. Faster than a human ever could.
