  • SHIFT FASTER!!!

  • i jizzed when i heard vtec...

  • nice LS dude. i hope my 87 will pull as good as yours.

  • what tranny u got?

  • Nice integra. Looks and sounds awesome. I'm a prelude guy, but I love a clean DA as much as I love ludes

  • you sure thats b16 head? looks like gsr butterfly opening at 4.5k

  • Comment removed

  • I love that model Integra so badly.. Newer Integra is nowhere as good looking

  • pulls good...

  • Nice, healthy vtec

  • What's the 1/4 mile time?

  • B16 head it's up on the info box

  • wat head u running

  • Why do your wipers come on

  • @1jrod3 its raining out there's droplets on the windshield.

  • 0 - 60 10 seconds? thats what i got

  • wow vtec cracks fucking hard lol, nice job

  • Vtec kicked in hard as shit lol

  • My integra ls with i/h/e, stage 2 clutch and b16 trans spins 2nd pretty hard and "wheel hops" 3rd on dry roads with 95% tread on 195mm radials. Real talk...

  • my horn button on my da broke off too :( guess i just have to buy a jdm steering wheel now haha

  • vtec hits hard

  • i dont understand why people keep saying you suck at shifting...looked good to me

  • sick car man vtec pops loudddddd af. gorgeous car too. and dont listen to all these assholes sayin you cant shift. its not like you are racing so why should it matter how fast you shift

  • @IntegraDA9JDM nice LS. Whats the max output when tuning it with all N/A part?

  • Well hop cause ur in the rain

  • Sounds strong. Thanks for sharing man.

  • i like it

  • very nice

  • Tupples real power is all motor no boost or nos

  • niiice :D , and TECH N9NE ♥

  • why is very one hating on this guy come the hell on its a honda one of the best cars made!!! and damn that vtec was hitting pretty hard man whats done to her

  • its still slow...

  • so this is what u little honda fags get so happy about vtec lolol put a turbo on it and make real power.

  • Jesus christ the sound of those motors is ANNOYING!.

  • Why do so many people troll and talk shit on other peoples videos he put work and time into the car and thats all that matters nothing else if he enjoyed doing it thats all he should care about not all you haters..probably dont even own the cars you say you do.

  • I have a blue da9, cant wait to finish the build, your car sounds awsome bro

  • Stage 2 or Pro1 cams would wake this up. Along with proper bolt ons and tuning. Stage 1 clutch is fine for the set up. That's what I have.

  • Just out of curiosity what do you drive sir? Apparently you have no idea how hondas work. Clutch slipping? The mph wouldn't move just the rpms. So what I have for you is a Honda. (my own) that is more than willing to make you shit your pants on a 60 roll to 170 if your down. I would say head up from a dig. But fwd and 700 horses makes it a bitch to hook. Even on 24" mickeys 24x10 if you were wondering. Feel free to email me precisionjay_1989@yahoo.com to lock this in. Otherwise read up on slipp

  • a bunch of dumb idiots on the internet who tries to teach you about your own car buahaha half these dumb shits dont even know how to change their own fucking oil.

its not his shifting nor the engine. its the stock clutch that is slipping. if you dont know facts or even own a lsvtec, just sit back, stfu and watch.

  • How many hp?

  • You need better cams/valvetrain to take advantage of the higher compression from the P30's, you need a better header with at least a 2.5" collector, and a proper street + dyno tune.

  • You need better cams/valvetrain to take advantage of the higher compression from the P30's, you need a better header with at least a 2.5" collector, and a proper street + dyno tune.

  • oh.. but still nigga need to learn howto drive lol..

  • THIS IS HOW U MAKE A BLOWN ENGINE ASSHOLE

  • Ok. So I just listened to the video. Sounds like the shifting could be a lot quicker and smoother. It's moving but someone else may be able to bang in the gears a little more precise than you. Amateur driver. But the lsv setup is beast

  • Slow

  • dude ur gonna blow ur damn engine redlining like that

  • @lemmegetanewpt lolololol he has a stock gauge cluster. the original p75 cylinder head that was in there revs to 7.2k stock and now with the vtec head he can go up to 8.2k

  • i dunno what you guys are talking about and i dont know why there are so many car idiots on here but, that motor pulled nice, i havent seen very many LS's pull that hard. and unless you have a video to back up your car or how well you can shift or drive then dont say anything........i hate reading worthless comments from you guys. thanks :o)

  • It's raining .

  • Why don't you guys just head the fuck up already. No need to talk about who can drive or who doesn't know their shit. Settle it on the blacktop. I'm Down to run. If anyone has a dragcar or something putting out around 800whp I have a eg hatch gsr 2.1L turbo on the unit. With a dogbox transmission. Enough said we can do it for some cash. Until then keep building fellas.

  • Its not my DD thank God. But I'd just shift 1st 3rd to 5th and coast if I had to. LSD ftw.

  • how do you have traction at all in the rain? i i have completly stock ls vtec in my crx with b16 tranny and i spin threw second all day on dry cement

  • @nwEFlyfe

I just had to feather the throttle a little bit at some times. I recently got yokohama s drives and those love to grip

  • honda bumps FTW!

  • I have the gsr head. 98 spec with a b16 tranny and a ls 5th gear. With a Bisimoto v2 header and je pistons, stock cams. Love it. Untuned but I'm pretty sure i make great power considering I leave evo8's out of 3rd gear. 2.0 lsv FTMFW!!

  • all you need is an b16 tranny.i have pretty much the same set up as you.alot of the same parts but my block is a b18B1 not a1 witha b16A1 head.and a few extra things.

I know for a fact if either one of us had a b16 trans, are cars would be a hell of alot quicker the gears would wrap out way quicker.so you should consider it cuz im broke.:/ lol

  • @jizzie1234 Actually the b17 ratios equal out to be very close gears to the B16 trannies. You can find b16 trannies with blown diffs or cracked cases for cheap and swap out pieces from your ls tranny

  • What exhaust do you have. Sounds clean

  • @CHR32191

In this video I was still only running the stock manifold and straight piping. Recently got a dc header as a temp and 2.5 piping.

  • sick ass soundin Vtec (Put Your Foot To The Floor Let The VTec Roar!) Thumps up on this one? :)

  • @FM3TTTRaceClan

    thanks!

  • damn you can hear the vtec kick in so damn hard

  • If you want LSV dont get a b16 head... it's not worth the money for 15 extra HP than an LS.

  • @flskim906 lol I don't think you know what you're talking about

  • @flskim906 aside from it having the exact same casting as a type R head.

  • @flskim906 15hp is a lot for n/a.

  • If you wan to build a reliable LSVTEC change out your piston to Type R pistons buy some ARP rod bolts ARP head bolts and a Hondata headgasket and just for safety a blockguard scince LSVTEC is a top end engine and your not resleeving the block just a low budget build I just finished ancouple of LSVTEC's myself....

  • @Marshmallowrex

because it is not meant for it, but there are ways around it, you can't just throw a vtec head on and think your motor is going to last for a long time so you need to get some other parts if you want it reliable and long term use

  • im going to do ls/vtec with my b1 any tips on the build?

  • @iMaGiKDoTs

You should put at least a gsr head or a b16 head, i have a ls motor and i want vtec but i want it to be reliable.

  • @vvssjjee lol i know what i need, read some more

  • My all time favorite teggie is the DA9 there just so damn hard to find where i live :(

  • damm dude i have an ls teg but no vtec ...:( so i have to make the vtec sound when i hit 5k......i all like brrraaaaaaaammmmm !!!!!!! lol

  • @VTEConDECK if you go ls vtec good luck sir :)

  • LMAO you cant drive stick. you choke. thumbs up for this idiot needing an auto transmission

  • @beefcow2009

No I just baby my tranny. I'm not gonna beat the piss out of it when it's a mint b17 tranny

  • @IntegraDA9JDM dont listen to these people that talk shit on here you didnt do anything wrong you drive fine. but i do the exact opposite of what you do tho. i beat the holy livin shit out of my tranny and clutch because im trying to kill them before i swap them. my tranny has like 200,030 miles on it and every synchro except 5th is fried even reverse grinds all to hell and the damn transmission just wont die

  • You stupid! Can drive stick for shite

  • @777fabulous

I can drive 100 times better than you can guaranteed

  • @IntegraDA9JDM and at least you spell better than 777fabulous

  • @IntegraDA9JDM I can drive better than you both, Easy settlement

  • @IntegraDA9JDM Your arrogant.

  • @IntegraDA9JDM you don't know even how to steer with steering wheel :D your stupid hands makes me sick

  • @IntegraDA9JDM who gives a fuck?

  • @777fabulous At least he can speak 'ENGERISH' properly...

  • @777fabulous Your dumb.

  • LISTEN TO MY VTEC SONG: watch?v=kxXxoRL9Hv8

  • Send me a message on how it's done, please. You've inspired me!

  • always like the wheel hop for some reason

  • My old bone stock 1997 M3 ran a 13.3! Stock! You dont see me posting my slow m3 on here!

  • @cartertaliaferro i dont see why people on the net have to be such troles go give your m3 a rim job freak boy

  • @cartertaliaferro

This user never said his integra was fast as hell he made this video for vtec lovers

  • @cartertaliaferro

Yeah because you didn't put any work into it and it wasn't unique

  • @IntegraDA9JDM Hate to tell you but your car ins't unique either. You see Integras everywhere and they are very common. Nice car but it's not "All that"

  • @cartertaliaferro Your a idiot m3s dont run 13.30s stock stupid fuck

  • @cartertaliaferro

bull crap. E36 m3 run low 14s and thats if you launch good

  • @cartertaliaferro hey stupid, if i want to look at fast car i just have to write veyron. I want a lsvtech engine for my car and i want to look at some vids. This guy is maybe a student and put what i was looking for on youtube, me im a dozer operator with 3 kids. Thats 2 good reasons to invest only 800$ on engine and 300 on a head on a car that are secure in winter and fun to drive. i really dont give a fuck about your car.

  • @cartertaliaferro First off I don't believe you have an e36 m3. Secondly I highly doubt you ran a 13.3 stock in your imaginary car. Third, if you did happen to have one why the hell are you drag racing a m3? And lastly, you don't post videos of your slow m3 because you don't/didn't have one, never ran those times and have no videos to upload.

  • Ok I dont get why you would post your car on here if you were running over a 13 sec 1/4 mile? Its slow as hell!

  • @cartertaliaferro

It's capable of a 13 once I get the tree timing down

  • @IntegraDA9JDM damn that vtec

  • @IntegraDA9JDM you do know that your reaction time doesnt mean shit right? it doesnt matter if you sit there for 1 second or 5 seconds your time doesnt start until you trip the beam

  • @cartertaliaferro stock ls-v run high 13s stock...... its only a four banger man ;)

  • hey anybody know whats the best piston compression for a ls vtec turbo

  • @jdmmilanoreddc2, that's the purpose of arp rod bolts. An ls bottom end isn't meant to rev past about 7500 max. If you do, there's a really good chance you'll break a rod bolt causing total engine failure. With arp bolts and an obd2 gsr or type r oil pump, you can rev it to 8500+

  • I know this might sound dumb, but would you get more mileage out of a stock LS bottom end if you only took it to say 7k?

  • NO VALES VERGA PARA MANEJAR ESTANDAR WE JAJAJAJAJA

  • sounds good, i know this video was posted last year but did you ever take her to the track? if so what she run?

  • @93dajjdg

Yeah, I just took it out on the track earlier this week for the first time actually. My best run was a 14.5 but I think with some more practice on the track I can get a flat 14

  • @IntegraDA9JDM nice car love yur vtec crossover

  • Looks like clucth spinning a little...

  • @fer6684 those tires were just a little bald and it was starting to sprinkle. I put an ACT 6 Puck on since though

  • man a lot of ls-vtec haters on here.

and they wonder why they be getting spanked by the frekeinstien ls-vtec.

we go with it because of the Longer 89Stroker that the b18b ls Gives us.

they hybrid it with a vtec head for better flows. higher compression then

stock Gsr or em1 Si motors' Also u can safely rev a ls-v to 8-9 grand

if u rotate the crank shaft. put a griddle arp rods bolts and type R oil pump etc. injectors and a tune of course. TUNE TUNE TUNE !

  • HUERTAB18C5 YOUR STUDIP!!!! LSVTEC IS THE SHIT IVE HAD MINE FOR 3 YEARS B16 PISTON GSR HEAD STILL PURRS LIKE A FUKIN LION!!!!

  • @OP:

That guy is write, though. I'm glad you and your boy's LS/V lasted a year...but they're probably not going to last as long (anywhere near it) as a stock H/A motor. The plain and simple fact that the LS/V's bottom end can't hold up to that high RPM at the power it's outputting. I've seen too many LS/V's with slung rods because somebody slapped a B16A2 head on it and thought it was good for 8k.

  • @MrSlowestD16 Well thats why I shotpeened the rods and put arp rod bolts in and had it all balanced. Plenty strong enough and reliable

  • @IntegraDA9JDM I suppose with the hardening and the rod bolts it'll definitely increase longevity. I would still argue that the overall longevity wouldn't be that of a standard H/A motor if it's always wound out to those revs. Though the LS/V's don't output a lot of power so you still have whatever buffer they gave the rods for the LS from the factory, so it'll probably hold up pretty decent. If it were my build though I'd go with aftermarket rods at some point or another, though.

  • i have had my lsvtec for 2 years and i love it......

  • @93dajjdg 2 years isn't long compared to the 19 years current D16Z6's/B18B/A's are lasting.

I'll add ellipses for sarcastic effect: ........

It's not a matter of the engine crapping itself, it's more-so that the bottom end isn't meant to spin at that high RPM, continuous doing so will prematurely wear out the internals at some point. The OP had the rods hardened, is using ARP rod bolts, while the whole thing was blue-printed/balanced on assembly. That changes the game quite a bit...

  • @MrSlowestD16 My engine is built and was built by pro function in schaumburg il, great shop mikey is the man....

  • @93dajjdg If your engine was built to withstand more power and/or higher revs, then that kind of negates the point of it not holding up to high revs in stock form, no?

Saying you have an LS/VTEC and it's still running fine after 2 years doesn't really hold any water against the "you can't rev a stock LS block that high continuously and expect it to last" point if it's built.

  • @MrSlowestD16

What? all i said was ive had mine for 2 yrs and its still going... i never said or implied that a stock ls bottom end can rev high all day, thats why i mentioned having a built motor. Any motor can be reliable as long as you build it right.

  • @93dajjdg Yeah. I just mentioned it (originally) because it's a common misconception with newbs and the LS/VTECs that you can just slap a B16A2 head on it, and wind it out to 8k, then the people sit there and wonder why they have slung rods and call the LS/VTEC unreliable.

  • @MrSlowestD16

    so true

  • NICE ! (:

  • Do u have gear ratios ?

  • @b0ss6769

    1st- 3.307, 2nd- 2.105, 3rd- 1.458, 4th -1.107, 5th- 0.880. Final drive is 4.266

  • any mods to make it pull THAT beastly

  • @holafceja

I posted pretty much everything in the description. Thepistons makes a good difference

  • Cool video bro. Im lsv all day in my 4door ef. By the way ... What ecu were u running?

  • @Deelsvman

thanks man. chipped p28 running on crome

  • LS Vtecs are good only for like 1 year or so...Why?,Because the LS block is not ment to handle the high RPM's..Unless you Build it....My Point here.LS vtec Piece of Shit!

  • @huertab18c5

That wouldn't make sense because what if you didn't build it andjust reved to 7k or barely rev it high. It would be the same thing but just having a different head. Rod bolts are the weakest link so if you put in some arp rod bolts, it'll be good

  • @IntegraDA9JDM then whats the point of doin ls/v in ur opinion? you would be better off buildin the bottom end and havin a torque monster with no vtec, waste of time to do ls/v and not take it past 7k imo, gettin 1500 rpm out of vtec isnt worth the money for NOT THAT MUCH MORE TQ

  • @ncboi2009

It is definitely worth the money to go lsv if you do it right. My friends stock lsv has lasted him well over a year. Yeah building a torque monster is ideal but why not match it with a better flowing head you know. It doesn't cost that much more money and there are plenty of high hp, high revving lsvs.

This isn't a stock bottom end as well so keep your comments somewhere elsewhere

  • sounds mean as hell! encounter any problems yet?

  • @Jerz0neMUSICC

thanks man. Nope, no problems since this video. Did warp the head once because the thermostat stuck but that was in the summer of 09

  • any idea how much power you have with that set up?

  • @iMaGiKDoTs

not too sure. I'm gonna get it dyno tuned this summer so I'll know then

  • that shits weak, foreal

  • @jsimon8585

lol alright lets see what you have and your specs

  • 0-60?

  • @wot4edge540

not too sure. I'll make a vid with some powershifting soon

  • can u still keep power sterring and ac with a ls vtec?

  • @IntegraDA9JDM ok. just didnt know if the brackets lined up

  • so when dose vtec kick in??? HA jk sick shit i want my 89 ef like this for summer

  • Your da sounds so money! And it looks a lot faster than my gsr da. Props man keep it up!

  • damn...love the sound of vtec!!!

  • took 9 1/2 seconds to hit 60. kinda slow dont'cha think

  • @NoToRiOuS408

Actually, top of 2nd is 60 so it was around 7 seconds. 0-60 is quicker than that but I just crept in first gear. If I were to have launched first gear then we would be able to calculate what the zero to 60 was

  • ok?

  • atleast it sounds like it doing something

  • @S2K1NG na you have to buy a golden eagle, vtec conversion kit.

  • who much was the engine?

  • @brankovergara

I added it up a while back. I think it was around 2k

  • that sounds exactly like my ls/vtec in my 90 hatch si, ill post a vid soon...

  • good shit man. beautiful da9, wish there were more like it. props to you

  • @j9civic7m

    thanks man!

  • nice, sounds bad, but my b18 alone, with no vtec, pulls just as hard...maybe even harder. car looks sick though

  • @subliminalkaos87 highly doubtful your b18 pulls harder than a ls vtec...wheres your videos?

  • Nice, did you use the golden eagle kit or piece one together.

  • @luvyouinmouth

I used the kit but if i were to go back, I'd piece it together since it's cheaper and I like using ls headgaskets.

  • Im currently putting LS/Vtec in my DC4, B16 head on b18b1 block

  • i have almost the same setup as you except i have pr3 pistons and an ls tranny. can you tell me, did you have to remove your injector resistor box to run those injectors?

  • @matthewcgomez

My da is a 92 so its obd1 and didn't come with a resistor box. If you get the obd1 injectors, I'm pretty sure you would just remover your resistor box but not 100 percent positive since I haven't dealt much with pre obd

  • heard it chirp in third on the second go

  • @intrga you must have been hearing something else....kinda hard to "CHIRP" 3rd when it was raining outside. Would have been cool though.

  • nice. sounds just like my friends ls/vtec hatch

  • sick man, doing the same.
