Win 7 vs vista vs xp

There is no way that Vista faster than Win7, because you turn on 1 on 1 in each laptop. If some one help you open in 3 laptops together, Vista is lower than Win7; but they can't fast than XP. I think :D

i have to be honest. you cant do a test like this on 3 different laptops. one laptop can have a major difference in processor speed. it could also involve ram and hardrive too. also. you have to turn all the laptops on at the same time not one after one. and last you have to have them wiped clean with a new os installation so they dont have any extra random crap to load. just saying.

@silverthegamehogxx ive taken that into count... the slowest one ran win7 the faster one ran win xp. the fastest one ran vista. Ive proven that in hwinfo benchmarks.

its hard to turn on three laptops with one arm :P

@Gamespieler DirectX have some additional optimization on Windows 7, no matter if you use DX9 or DX10 mode... Microsoft could optimize it on Windows XP also, but lately they were working they ass off to kill XP :(

@37474748 Well I work as Admin and I still prefer XP... its way stable, faster and compatible than Vista and Win7... And the user likes it... And I have less "WTF problems" than on newer Windows OS-es... Its a shame to put away a winning horse at its prime, they could just redone XP, add a better 64-bit support, integrate DX11/WPM12/Network capabilities, and I would even bough it, even if I hate Microsoft, but now... Only warez versions!

At home I have DIFFERENT results testing in a single pc (not 3 different like you did) :/

And the 7 Loads faster, after that's the XP and then Vista

@advsoft well depends on the rig allot.. i used main stream rigs. i can do my i7 and totally whoop the ass with both vista and win 7 on xp. i get sick startup times on xp.

windows is the most used. Not the best. But again most used operating system for homes. Although i think Microsoft are liars but that just me. You got proof in the video an dead Wlan card did in deed power up and work perfectly in win7 but not in any other windows.
