I failed God... I did something recently, something I swore I would NEVER do, and He's even warned me not to do it for the longest time, but I gave into temptation without thinking. Satan won, and I failed God... and so I came here, to a song about the Fall of Man, my situation seems quite similar. I think the point that should be made is not whether you can prove God exists, @Newlyfounded, but whether @itachiitachi1946 can prove that God DOESN'T exist.
That's not the point. God exists, you can see the evidence of it everyday around you. You can feel him with you all the time, he supports you, he walks with you, he loves you. It is not a matter of existence being proved. He IS there. And he is waiting for you to come home.

My high-school biology book explains in detail why macroevolution is merely an unconfirmed hypothesis at this point. Shall I name them?

I think it's because there's no value in belief if you KNOW what you believe is true. If you believe, despite the world telling you you're an idiot, then there's value in your faith. Not being a troll; I don't believe there is a "God" I'm a 21 year old boy who never had it easy, I work hard 24/7 in college with a learning disability and type 1 Diabetes for 18 years. 2) We'll have to agree to disagree about this, since what I've read gives lots of indicators. He said-he said won't get us anywhere.
3) Back when Christianity was young, practicioners were fed to lions. That's not a scenario where priests would hold a lot of power.

@itachiitachi1946 Uh, no. The bible does NOT say that plants were created first. The book of Genesis clearly says that he created light (i.e., the sun) BEFORE plants, animals or humans. As for guts, reasoned arguments have caused me to change my viewpoint in the past. I could name several books that present arguments and evidence for God. My high-school biology book explains in detail why macroevolution is merely an unconfirmed hypothesis at this point. Shall I name them?

I can't stand to listen to half-hour lectures, and you probably can't be bothered to read 'The Case for Christ,' by Lee Strobel, which details actual HISTORICAL evidence for Christ, with actual CITATIONS. @itachiitachi1946 I have thought about it, I spend a great deal of time thinking about it. I can't give you 'proof,' no one can. There's no denying that. I think it's because there's no value in belief if you KNOW what you believe is true. If you believe, despite the world telling you you're an idiot, then there's value in your faith. That's what faith is, belief in the absense of proof. Even if God were a lie, I'd still want to live life by his values, because they are GOOD values.

When He does, you begin to see God is literally EVERYWHERE always has been. Secondly, when you see that God is real, its through His presence, thats the biggest proof of all. The Holy Spirt sets upon you and you can never say that He isn't real, its a feeling you can't describe or say its not real. You have to want to see Him and ask.

Not being a troll; I don't believe there is a "God" I'm a 21 year old boy who never had it easy, I work hard 24/7 in college with a learning disability and type 1 Diabetes for 18 years. I learned there is more out there, so I try to keep an open mind to the universe about a God or maybe more then one God, but I do respect the music it touches me in my heart.
