  • There is enough fresh water under the Sahara desert to sink the entire USA in many times over. makes you wonder why,the western media built a case against Gaddafi to ATTACK him.

  • Free water, free ligth, free house... now I undertand why libyans lynched Gaddafi and violated his body, he was really evil.

  • this is the place where zionists will add flouride cyanide and other deseases to kill the libyans

  • THIS GREAT MAN MADE RIVER IS NOW OWNED BY THE EMPIRE OF THE CITY AKA THE NWO AKA 'JEWZ'

PLEASE UPDATE THE VIDEO TITLE ACCORDINGLY

  • This is surely worth killing for. This is worth billions in the hands of greedy people. Google: cochabamba+water war+Bechtel

  • why do they need fluoride it is a poison

  • @Zabac81

    It's a joke lol, cuz that's what's in our water =] ahahah

  • @ModernDeism I am sorry you feel that way about Canada. I am Canadian and most people who are educated about the tactics used by governments to achieve their own ends under the premise of humanitarian action are against Canada's participation in US led endeavours. However, it continues because of the Canadian government's fear of trade impediment, even in the face of the Canadian peoples' wishes. There are other issues at play as well if course. That if course does not make it any less wrong. W

  • Makes you wonder if one day they will have enviormentalist that will want them to stop using that water.

Something that the people in the U.S. great plains region might have experience in

  • you watch the CBC, Pro?

  • What a feat of engineering!

  • 8 bodies found now here on island and no FBI? File that under "inside job".

  • @danp5648 Yup.

  • @BlakeBarbieDoll Add 2 more bodies, for a total of 10.

  • I can't help but think that this is all being done out of a selfish desire to breed and breed in an inhospitable region.

  • hmmm, nope, I didn't know

  • Impressive

  • Are you going to respond to fringeelements?

  • Well done CBC. Canadian keeping US well informed...between the 'lines'...

    Cheers!

  • I love hearing about things like this. It's cool to me to think how humans can manage to survive in such varied environments. It is somewhat disheartening, however, to see the comments full of people trying to bring negativity into every possible thing.

  • @FONEternal yes i agree. i love to see how people can be so resourceful and make a living anywhere. i think many of us in comfortable places don't realize our true potential because we don't have to

  • @FONEternal It's normal because NATO(controlled by hungry corporations) destroyed the hope of the Libyan people. Just watch and see what will happen next.

  • Dont worry! It will fail in about 100 years, causing more problems then it solved, thank god!

  • @cba1067950 Because Europe won't take any more immigrants. =p

  • We must put mercury and pesticides in this million year old water source.

    As soon as possible.

  • Pour sewage in it ftw.

  • Of course, it's probably a Canadian company owned by a US corporation. So, can that "pipe graveyard" be turned into a pipe city? Or is that just a pipe dream?

  • Well, that was superficial. What's that old saying..."when you've got it, flaunt it."? Maybe that's what Kadafi's aim is. And Canada's just cashing in. Wonna buy a bridge?

  • @cba1067950

I don't know go ask the people who live in Arizona and Nevada.

  • This actually sounds like a great idea! I hope they build more of them in the future. It will probably help in the fight against starvation and give people healthy water to drink.

  • Yeah, but if they flood Libya with water it will kill off Shai Hulud.

    The spice must flow!

  • @Hannsfeld Muad Dib FTW!

  • In the 40's a group of scientist and engineers proposed a huge man made water river system in the United States. This would have been used to transport raw materials, water, and people to any destination with virtually no energy cost required. It's sad that congress and the president rejected the proposal. I wonder if we can still accomplish this today in the United States.

  • Ha that evil kadaffi bring water to his people. That guy is soooo bad!

  • @MustacheVerra haha yeah he must be stopped for bringing water to people. EVIL!

  • so Libyans can thank Canada, the great Satan`s neighbor & partner for supplying Water - "life`s blood" for potential growth in that region. the irony

  • @ModernDeism haha the great satan...original

  • @ModernDeism how is that ironic? Canada is not the US and Arabs realise that, hence they chose CANADIAN engineers. Oh and it's the Iranians who refer to the US as the Great Satan, not Libyans.

  • Aquaponics! AQUAPONICS!

  • lol white people there looking for oil, how typical

  • Pumping this water from the earth will cause it too collapse .

  • Rebel:

"...and What has Gaddafi ever done for us?"

    Old Man:

    "The Acqueduct?"

    XD

  • Aaarrrhhhhh.... CBC news... such a refreshing perspective.

  • Treasure comes in many forms

  • Whilst Gaddafi should be roundly praised for progressing the nation in terms of things like infrastructure, health, education for example, he has also committed terrible crimes against fellow Libyans. There is no freedom of speech and no free media. There comes a point in every nation's history when the people say enough is enough. 42 years for any leader is crazy, and since his sons and their sons would likely also rule, Libyans could look forward to 100 more years of the Gaddafis in power.

  • They will waste all the water within a few years if they start watering their plants with it. At least if they grow them outdoor. What they need are greenhouses so the water doesn't vaporize into the air.

  • I did not know :)

    Very interesting, though

  • There is much more to what Ghadaffi has done for libya. Wake up america, those 'rebels' aren't what you think they are. Not every under dog is justified.

  • @quirkjerks Ghadaffi only works for Ghadaffi. If he builds a giant river, its to make his name last forever. If he wants to split up swizerland its not to make europe better but because of revenge. Ghadaffi is a mad man. I have no idea who those rebels are but seeing how crazy Ghadaffi is they should get their chance at governing the country.

  • @Thoran666 I doubt they will. Im confident the US will pick their leaders for them again.

  • noo. let the population double!

much better that way, 'cause then there will be twice as many people to suffer when the taps go dry in some localised water based malthusian type event.

  • Well done Ghadaffi !

  • Well, I'm sure that Mossad will be blowing that aqueduct up any day now.

  • too bad we cant bomb it or... can we?

  • @Brezable Our men are working around the clock to make sure we can =)

  • @Brezable Don't know. We should test the bombs out on the dikes in Holland to see how much damage they do there. If that works out we can move on the Libya.

  • @Brezable surface/earth penetrating bombs have been around since ww2.

just look up "earthquake bomb" on wikipedia

  • Wow!! A country that wants to grow its own food and not have to import it, oh the horror. A country with its own central bank..oh-emm-gee. Something MUST be done!!! Great video.

  • GADS!! what year is this from? obviously not this one.

  • Interesting video - thanks for posting.

  • Thank you protean view for this great video ,I am Ethiopia ,In Ethiopia we try build Electric Dom the environmental and the Egyptian government try to wage war form Nile river ,even the river water flow 80% of it from Ethiopia .from this video i can see clearly how the western play game with our life .

  • FRINGEELEMENTS calls

  • Just another reason for the West to invade. They want the oil and the water. Bastages.

  • @trademarc66 Right... because Western Europe has a water shortage...

  • @RJhasFLOW

Israel has major problems in that department

  • @goatman257 Israel isn't in NATO, and though Israel has large influence in the West, NATO doesn't invade nations because Israel needs some water.

  • @RJhasFLOW

"In the future the main geopolitical resource in the Middle East will be water more than oil,"

  • Hmm did that boogy man Gaddaffi build this?

  • in California we call it a aqueduct.

  • @chemicalovercast but it was built without any loans from private and central banks - no debt

  • @chemicalovercast In England we call it AN aqueduct.

  • a democracy couldnt achieve something like this, you need a long term vision

  • @planetmax83 That is nothing compared to the infrastructure of the US... but the US inst a democracy either, same rich fucks have been running this place since before WW2. So you are still not wrong...

  • yes but do they have fluoride?

  • @FreedomAtRisk Only if the us wins will they have that type of freedom...lol

  • @FreedomAtRisk

    lol, do they need it?

  • @FreedomAtRisk

Are you saying fluoride (which basically is poison) is somehow good and even needed on water sources?

  • @Koba82 duh im from america i LOVE fluoride ;)

  • @FreedomAtRisk They don't need floride to try and control poeple; their Muslim.

  • @FreedomAtRisk doubt it - flouride, thats only in the west

  • Heroic act of mankind. This is what we should be doing for the world instead of destroying them.

Check out NAWAPA for one in North America that is not being done due to Western selfishness.

Props to Gadaffi for such vision!

  • wow

  • reminds me of the great martian canals for some reason...

  • Trying to grow crops in a desert will use a tremendous amount of water, consequently using each drop till everything is bone dry, then what? Human being should stop tyring to fight against nature, it will never work. For long that is.

  • Is proteanview a Canuck?

  • Incredible! We need more creativity like this.

  • holy shit man that was pretty good

  • cubic litres? as opposed to non-cubic litres?

  • @gratex meters not liters

  • @pinochet222 LOL

  • Water wars

  • @Templehatchet You got that right.

  • hay
