Season 1 off Matt Smiths run had some great episodes it had a build up and a story to tell, i would say however that season 2 lacked focus.

It was kinda here and there first half pretty good but second not so good there where 1 maybe 2 good episodes and that was that the rest was either mediocre or just plain bad.

It felt very much like by the first half they had told pretty much everything and was just padding in second half.

This scene is one of the best scenes I've ever seen in Doctor Who. I can tell and simply because it reminds me of some of the other greatest speeches in the series. Like when the Ninth Doctor said "No." to the Daleks, defying them without any defenses, weapons, or a plan. Or when the Fifth Doctor would let nothing stand in his way to save Peri, even willing to crash a spaceship with him in, while a gun was pointed at his head, just to try and save her from dying. This truly is a great moment.
