This driver is great. I've had him on the 135 I think, happiest bus driver I have ever seen. They shipped these buses to a city in Argentina for $2500 each + shipping fees. I liked these buses too but I often hit my head in them after becoming accustomed to the newer buses.
Well some good news. 2805 has been fully restored to it's original BC Transit colours. As well as for 2704 i'm not really sure if it will be restored but positivly it may be restored and may be either painted into the BC Transit colours or maybe the orange MTOC colours
As of 2002 Philadelphia had 5 ETB routes, 3 in the northeast part of the city and 2 in the southern district. They disposed of all the Flyer/AM General ETB's and dieselized all routes. Buckling under pressure from the city and other civic groups, they finally decided to but 38 new ETB's for the 3 northeast lines, but do away permenantly with the 2 routes in South Philly, replacing them with dedicated hybrids.
Edmonton is getting rid there trolleys for good. There will be no new ones to replace the old ones. City council voted two months ago to rip down the whole system and replace it with hybrid buses. To bad I live in Edmonton
it's gonna be sad to see there buses go to retirement i wished Translink saved maybe a few of these buses. I've been riding these buses since the early 80's and they were fun to ride. R.I.P Flyer E901A/E902 Trolley's
If not Translink/CMBC then Barp will save some in storage just like they did with the brill trolley's. Don't worry, they'll come out once every now and then for trolley fan trips.

@Francis362003 yeah, they now operate new buses that are generally better but apparently, there are less trolley buses than before.

Just an update. 2805 is restored along with 2812 as parts. 2704 went to Mendosa Argentina.
2805 might be seen next September in a fantour along with a Brill trolley #2040 or #2416

Ya 2805 i always remember that bus as a young teenager back in the mid 80's. My dad would use 2805 on routes such as 16 Arbutus and 41 Crown
