I wouldn't compare the two. If you are thinking about getting an Oly, and the Q is your basis for decision making, than I believe you should consider the Pen E-PM1. Now, which of the two, then, would I recommend? First I need to know what kind of photography you intend to do. Everything starts from there.

That Q is amazing its as small as the Auto 110 that used 110 format film during the 1980's - used one it was fun. Prints were crap but the Kodak slide film was quite good (I still have them) would love to try out a Q Pentax ... anyone listening to me... Pentax ????

i think the idea behind this camera is great but and i'd love to get my hands on one. The price point would be right on if the ISO sensitivity would be better. Unfortunately the iso settings are going to be shit on this camera so its a no go. Most of the m4/3 arent small enough to replace a d7000 with a 35mm 1.8, they are definitely smaller but not enough incentive to get a separate camera.

Wow, you must really hate Pentax. The Q was a mistake. Even most Pentax-fanboys pretend it doesn't exist. It's like the third godfather-movie.

Your other Pentax-review is about the K-r which offers many features that other entry-level-DSLRs don't (like 6fps) and has an amazing image quality. Yet you complain about the plastic body (entry level!).

If you would just review a K5 or a 645D you would see what Pentax is really capable of. But I guess then you would lose the Canon/Nikon-Fanboys.

@SerienchiIIer I owned the K-r and it does feel very cheap. Therefore, I have to agree with Kai on that. And the kit lens' build quality is pretty poor too, and also you have to mention the focus issue that the camera had.

Some bad/gd points might be exaggerated for entertaining purposes, or should i call it sarcasm? And Kai bashes all brands including Canon & Nikon too. And even you admitted the Q was a mistake so how can u conclude that he hates Pentax?
