let me tell you something...the way I got an interest in this song, is because I've been researching old court cases that all came up in the 80s & involved "repressed memory therapy" & "ritual abuse accusations" & every 1 that I've seen so far was overturned on appeal years later on grounds of improper foundation. & I came across this song in an '85 case. A 20-something woman who got charged w/ aforementioned stuff & this songs lyrics written in her notebook was physical evidence against her...

This video was beautifully done, without any words the song brought out all the emotions of the moments at the end when (her father?) arrived with her all drenched from the rain I was tearing up a little.

@01ramcummins Not father, but in fact the man (Col. Fitzwilliam) she later marries after she discovers that Willoughby has married another woman. Willoughby decided she was too poor for him in the end - excellent book by the brilliant J Austin!! Ps: I can forgive you for thinking he was her father. I think there is a 20 year age difference between them in the book!! :)

Je connais très bien Jomi Michel. Je suis un des chanceux qui s'est retrouvé un soir de pluie en 1976 aU Pavillon du Canada. Joni était vêtu tout de blanc rose en main et piano noir. Ele a interprété l'album Court and Spark. Procure toi le si tu n'as pas. Un classique !
