The visitation nuns accept mature vocations. And no, i don,t believe God only calls virgins. Medieval times are long gone.When God calls,let no man stand in the way!!!!
why the age cut off ? all of the USA communities have an age cut off....if one feels they have a calling to religious life ...where do they go ? do they tell God sorry i was too old ......i long to become a sister but i have to leave the USA to become one...God really does work in mysterious ways
@usnavymom1958 There are communities that don't have an age limit (indeed I know of one that won't let you IN unless you are over 45!) . There are some things that have carried through from older eras that no longer should apply and others that have been thrown out that should be brought back.
