So what was really unclear in the video...What's the purpose of all of the settings? Does it lower the file size? What if the project is already a short video? Then there would be no need to change the settings ~ if it were already small enough...
So basically, you upload an HD video the same way you upload a normal video ~ which is: after you export, you upload...
@esldave These settings will output a video which will be HD once uploaded to youtube. If you upload a video straight from a camera then the screen size might be squashed and the quality might be lowered making the video not HD
Your video really helped me get started on uploading videos (check them out if you'd like)... but I would suggest saving the file as 720p or 1080i HD, and then exporting as an H.264. For settings, I did 5000kbps/sec and 40 frames, with a current frame rate. Then for stereo, I did the highest settings possible and everything turned out great. Thank you very much for posting this upload. Again, it really helped get me started with this.
Oh, I also forgot to mention one last thing. I'm using iMovie '06 for posting music onto youtube. If it's just a picture, use the lowest frame rate (8), and not the current... because for some reason, it won't upload onto youtube if you use current. If you google "h.264," the second search result is really helpful with picking out which settings that are right for your purposes.
Funny how this video quality sucks
