The album was released without title and is identified chiefly by this song, its major success. The original title of the song was "Il ragazzo della via Gluck", written by Adriano Celentano. Hardy had admired Celentano's autobiographical song having seen him perform it at the Festival della canzone italiana di Sanremo in January 1966. Eddy Marnay translated the song into French.

In the 1960's we in the UK used to scoff at Chanson. Cant you just imagine Cilla covering this and murdering it. That would be 'No Class' covering 'Pure Class'.
