How is that different from a flip?

It is exactly the same. (as a flip in tuck position) but in gymnastics, all twists and flips in the air are called saltos, which translates into somersaults. The ones they showed here are the simplest saltos, the front tuck and the back tuck.

@bubles6292 In the UK, that would be called a somersault (a full rotation in mid-air). I'm not sure where this guy is from, but presumably that's the case for his country too. What occasionally gets called a somersault in the US (a full rotation on the ground) would be called a 'forward roll' here in the UK.
