I always wondered if the guys who wrote the puzzles thought about pulling a dick move with the flute in the fountain. Because, well, it's been constantly splashed with acid, and even though the gauntlet would protect your hand, putting it directly to your lips without washing it off first...
I also didn't realize until I heard it just now: The flute music is similar to the first part of Deja Vu's main theme.
0:45 Huh, they let them get away with Hell in this game. This, Castlevania II, and Monster Party are the only NES games I can think of that used that.
