Education is the only way we can save lives. Take what you have learned here and apply it to life. It can be hard, but just ask the next person you see wearing fur "what kind is it?", "Do you know how they get the fur?", "Do you think thats ok?". Ask in the most polite way, not like you want to tear their coat apart. I try to seem concerned about the person and their ego (I'm not), but it seems to really get though to them. GET OUT THERE AND FIGHT!!

Barbarism is pervasive in the fur trade. If peta could focus purely on stopping cruelty like this then normal people would take them a lot more seriously. The insane rhetoric/arson/vandalism in attempts to sabotage medical advancement and elect a chicken president etc erodes their credibility to just about nil.
