  • hard cases tend to be a pain in the ass for short trips just to the range. For a long trip if it might get bumped around, hard case for sure.

  • I used this one a few times while we had it, and I was impressed.. it wasn't small, but it had a LOT of padding.. my rifles aren't too delicate or fancy so it was overkill for them, but for nicer rifles, these can be a good option
