In fact I would find it strange if they got along all the time. I think these four men cared about each other deeply, and that Brian, Roger, and particularly John never fully recovered emotionally from Freddie's death. The idea that their partnership was dominated by tension most of the time is, I think, an exaggerated media myth.

yes absolutely 1987,freddie had full blown aids in 87 so he may have been hiv + for anything up to 7 or so years before or just very unlucky getting hiv in late 86 and going full blown straight away,as its hard to tell cos it seems to affect everybody differently.his lover jim is still alive being hiv+ for at least 18 years so its all very strange,maybe jim and freddie caught it from different people .very sad indeed amazing how freddie fought aids for 4 years and produced great music.
