  • Great film. Says a lot in a short space about how pointless sex is when there isn't any kind of authentic contact between the two people // And it's very helpful when these kind of ideas are expressed through things like film and novels - not just via debate and polemics... as on my channel :-) One criticism: I thought the guy's acting was a bit wooden, at the beginning. The mother was good, though. Especially that look she gave, at the wedding, when her daughter mentioned her not having a man.

  • @genpolnet thanks for your criticism--I actually agree :) I like to think I've evolved as an actor since this project, though I was reasonably more content with my performance in the latter portion of the film. You should subscribe to my channel as I will be uploading more recent acting clips very soon--I like debate and polemics, so I will most certainly reciprocate

  • @stellar876 =) Think I'll peek my head in there as well Kevin (take a look too).

  • @stellar876 - Your right, the bit at the end, where you were getting dressed was a lot better :-) One problem at the begging was that the dialogue was a bit / I say / you say / - It could have maybe done with a bit of anticipation or interruption. So I don't know who to blame for that :-) Still, I can't act for toffee... so, maybe I'd better stop now :-) Basically, a great film, which is why I've put it in my Favourites.

  • @genpolnet Thanks for taking the time to leave this comment, it's so appreciated. Looks like one cast member responded already, I'll make sure the other at least sees it. As for me, your criticism is a part of my cells now. I'm gonna come back swingin' (when I direct again). =) So, stay tuned and come back!! OH and....GLAD YOU LIKED IT.

  • Nice

  • @JaiHyler3DTV *Thanks!*

  • @looking4myfvoice Thanks for the comment, and thank-you for your compliment on behalf of the actors. =) =) =) Yes, filmmaker here. Yes, I am in NYC. Well, perhaps we can sometime. Why not? In between, I hope to cast a mtf transgender actress. Know any in NYC? If you do, more details...

  • @deepbreakfast1960 Thank-you. =)

  • Interesting work , like the script- where did you cast the actors/actresses from? Well done : ) Sharon xxx

  • @shazzermischief Thank-you!! I cast the actors through NYC boards really. One actor I knew and in the wedding scene a few are friends. =) Thank-you for watching and commenting! =)

  • I liked it!! I will stay tuned in for more

  • @Jensagirl thanks!

  • Indie...and sentimental. I sorta felt like slapping that bald guy though LOL ><

  • @teflonedonenis *Smiles Big.*

  • @urbanex4201 Awww THANK-YOU! But I remember a teacher saying to me in film school--stop trying to DO SO MUCH. You get to come back another day. Really? Haha. THANK-YOU. It's nice to see people aren't annoyed by it, tho I do less now. And people DO, don't they...compartmentalize. Actually, maybe I do too. Haha.

  • @urbanex4201 =) Oh thank-you! We shot it on video. =) That's why the look. And thanks for adding to your favorites! That's GREAT. =)

  • This short is so intimate and real. I wanted to slap the slave myself, and I found it quite revealing how he couldn't submit to showing love because it isn't in him. I enjoyed it and can't wait for you to create a feature length flick.

  • @Onomastique Lol, that's funny... you wanted to slap the slave. You understood quite a bit about this short. That's wonderful. Thanks for getting on the ride. And "hope," to have two more shorts up just after Summer. =) There is a feature in the works for 2012. Thanks AGAIN!!

  • Sorry I didn't watch this sooner {I just found your pm a few minutes ago}. It is wonderful to see you making films again! I really enjoyed this one and I hope to see you make more in the near future, Tanyeno. :)

  • @YeOldeHeretic Hi there Laurel, LONG TIME RIGHT? Well at least you found it, glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the encouragement. I'm always doing something (writing or directing or editing or working with a composer). But I probably need to get faster in my process. That's why...it seems like I stop. =) Don't really. Awww, YOU will SEE ME MORE in the future. =) And it was great to have you return Laurel. Great to chat again. =)

  • I love it. This is my third time viewing this short. Interesting how when intamacy does show up, we go "whoah!" and do a swift retreat..And also how when two seemingly loving adults who are just going through the motions. Life can be messy, no matter how tight a reign one might think they have on it.. This was awsome.

  • @Mzrougepoupee Your third time? =) That is awesome. I agree that life is messy, as well. Nothing is ever as simple as it looks, nor people.

  • @Mzrougepoupee By the way--THANK-YOU FOR THE COMMENT.

  • That is very deep, for love to be expressed, or even mentioned in this context is very rare. Great work and thanks for sharing.

  • @DesertLaser Thank-you so much for the compliment/comment DesertLaser. And thanks for taking the time to watch.

  • T! You explored so much in this short film. Love, pain, anger, revenge, hurt etc. This is awesome. The composing is great too. Exploring the relationship of master/slave was excellent. Putting love in the context of that relationship is brilliant! Excellent work T.

  • @SaelPalani My goodness thank-you!!!!!!!*** I actually was trying to move through alot, my goodness glad it landed!! Whoa!!! I love it. I'm so happy you're not embarrassed to write a comment too. I just needed to throw love in right there you know. Cause it's everywhere...even places we don't want it. Thank-you from the bottom of my heart and for everyone involved. =) =) =)

  • This particular writer/director puts out some very intriguing products. There's certainly an pushing of stereotypical envelopes done in ways that continue to capture My Attention. It's most surprising they are not more highlighted and supported within the mainstream. Perhaps it will take someone with an ability to push the envelope as well to snap up this type of talent. Surely, there is Most Definitely merits of support to be rewarded in turn. Good Stuff! Can't wait to see more, I'm subscribed.

  • @913spiffy Thank-you very, very much. Powerful comment, very appreciated!
